Skywalker5: Now that Kobe is done I concur that the squad be built around the trio, Julius Randle came up with 23pts and 11boards. The future is bright #LakerNation |

Mizzzbeee:hahaha We don't want to end the season as the worst team just to get favourable draft picks...if we keep winning we just might make it to the playoffs you know |

Mizzzbeee:I think it would be tough a tough away game... Reasons are... The game would be a back to back game after playing away to a Dallas Mavericks team that have beaten them this season and then playing a strong spurs team... Well.. I hope it doesn't end in a blowout... Still repping Lakers... |

kliq:I hope we also win the draft lottery... Select Simmons... Lakers gonna be great again... And we get a couple of free agent to help accelerate there growth... This days... Watching Warriors tho is fun... But still reppin Lakers... 1 Like |

Seamareggae: Yeah draft picks and free agency will be crucial to the rebuilding process...I'm so loving the way Curry and the GSW are rolling, I hope they go all the way and break that 72games win so we can start talking about the possibility of Curry becoming the G.O.A.T by the time he retires 2 Likes |

Seamareggae:don't count Warriors out when it comes to nationally televised big games. Dallas won because curry was out. Warriors have done very well in back to back games. The two games would depend on the bench, if they play smart and blow out Dallas early so that starters can rest for the next game. It would be an interesting one. Playing on spurs home court isn't a walk in the park! 2 Likes |

kliq: I don't think the warriors can break that record but we will see. The warriors are a good team but i won't say great. This warrior's game is one direction.Three points. Look at what happened when they played against the Lakers. Curry will be regarded as a three point great because that what he is doing all the time. I like his game but you should understand that other teams are not dumb. They will find a way to shut Klay and Curry down very soon. They can't keep relying on Three points. I still believe they need someone in center position.Andrew and Festus are okay but i think come playoff time, they will struggle. They won the championship because nobody expected them to win at all but this time, everyone will be on their tail.I might be wrong on what i am saying but Draymond green needs to be MVP mode come playoff time if they want another championship. He is hustler for the team. The remaining guys are just running around for Curry and Klay to make shots. |

Skywalker5:Skywalker this current GSW na historically great team don't let curry's crazy range deceive you the guy can do it all the only weak part of his game na defence and he isn't a liability like before. the only way this team won't repeat is if God forbid curry is injured or the spurs have been hiding some crazy way to shut them down. I don't want them to win it but I have not seen a worthy challenger. 1 Like |

Skywalker5: 1. They can. What will determine it now is complacency. At this stage they are still leading the 95/96 Bulls and guess what people said in 95/96? That the Bulls played too many expansion teams. Everyone wants to claim their generation was better. 2. The warriors are a great team. Lakers of 2000-2003 didn't look like they would win 70 games. Lakers of the 80s as well as the Celtics of the 80s didn't win 70 games. They all averaged 66-69 games and this GSW team did 67 last year. Wonder why people say they didn't expect them to still win the NBA finals. 2b. GSW are not a one dimensional team. Every team in the NBA shoots 3s. Some are just better than others at it. The game against the Lakers was a fluke. Curry and Thompson don't shoot 1/18. Curry has more 3s in the last 2 seasons than Jordan managed in his whole career. 3. To shut Curry down, convince him his shooting is poor and intercept all his passes. What are the odds of that happening consistently? Your guess is as good as mine. 4. I agree with Festus and Bogut because they are not scoring machines but what they lack in scoring they make up for in defence (Festus) and assists (Bogut). Good rotation and implementation is all they need. 5. GSW won the championships last time because they were the best team both in the regular season and in the playoffs- simple. Last time Spurs peeped Miami they did it because they shot better especially from the perimeters. Same as Dallas. 2 Likes |

SIRcumalot: I believe Spurs will shut them down.March 19 is not far.I like the warriors but outside shooting is too much and that is what I am worried about.i watched a clip where Bogut is not even trying to rebound anymore because Curry is about to shoot. It's now fancy for the warriors which is why they were defeated by Lakers. The warriors are a good team but not a great team in my opinion.Curry is a shooting god.he will be remembered as a great three point shooter.I still fear the Spurs has something waiting for them during playoff.Spurs are still on top even without Duncan playing. They share the ball while the warriors are looking for Curry and Klay. All it take's is one injury to disrupt their balance. 1 Like |

Seamareggae: I don't mean to break your heart, but as an ardent college basketball fan i can tell you there is nothing exceptional about Ben Simmons and that is the truth. You can not build an NBA roaster around the skill set Ben has, i personally rate Karl- Anthony Towns better than Ben albeit they play different positions. Hyping Ben is only natural because the NBA needs a face for the draft every year and who better to hype the league than ESPN? Ben is a good player but nothing daring enough to light up the NBA. 1 Like |

Skywalker5:your analysis about Warriors looking for curry and Klay is soo wrong. If you are talking about that speak about Thunder. Sharing the ball is the warriors thing. I have followed their game from the beginning of the season. Infact last game against Jazz, Curry had 12points and 10assist he struggled all tru. The bench came up big with 53points cuz they shared the ball. 2 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:43pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
Unless you are a Warriors fan, we all want someone to beat them, but saying they only look for Klay and curry is blasphemy. They move the ball, this is not okc. They share the ball. But still though, if anyone can beat them in the west in a seven game series, it is between okc, Spurs, and clippers. A perfect game would be needed by the way. 2 Likes |

Roland17:you think this draft is not going to have any superstar? I won't be surprised. The superstar talents all came out of last year draft. Simmons might not be a superstar, but he won't be an Anthony Bennett either. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:59pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
Donlittle: Please, the 2 highlighted teams can't beat a drum. Only Spurs stand a chance which can take it to a game 7 but since GSW will have home court advantage, it will take a miracle for anyone to beat them in a 7 game series. 2 Likes |

Mizzzbeee: I know numbers don't lie but sometimes when i watch the game, it looks like its all Curry and when he is stuck or double teamed, he then passes the ball.Maybe its just me looking at it that way. I have not watched all the games but when i do, i am always watching Curry and Klay and it seems the ball go through both of them all the time.I do like the warriors but i feel Spurs are waiting for them. I feel like spurs are the bad guys trying to take warriors down. Spurs game is not exciting but its very efficient. |
Re: The NBA Begins by OohMpa: 4:33pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
Skywalker5: The Lakers won that game cos the warriors underestimated them. Simple... It wasn't about the 3 Point game. Their turnovers were too high and the Lakers capitalized on it. Ooh Mpa can bet his life savings that there's minimal game plan to play the Lakers. You guys should stop with the dependence on 3 point shooting arguments Bucks beat them in the paint game Nuggets capitalized on their errors Portland, well Curry didn't play defence on Lillard Pistons played the dominant center game 4 of their 6 losses are against teams that won't make the playoffs while they've not lost to the top 5 teams in either conference. Doesn't that say a lot? These are the facts: 1) Warriors lead the league in assists at 29+ per game. It's a team game such that they move the ball even if the key players are underwhelming. Watch last night's game and see what warriors did when Curry's shooting was abysmal. 2) Warriors are 7th in paint, yes paint. 40% of their points come from that rectangle. The remaining 60% are shared between free throws, 2 point and 3 point shots. How's that reliance on 3pts? 3) Curry leads the league in paint percentage at 68%. Digest that in. His efficiency is better than all the centers and even Lebron. That's LeBron main bulk of points (3rd in league) with his poor 3pt shooting (28%) and still averages 25ppg. Curry bests him in his own game, a 45% 3pt shooter, 91% FT shooter and 51% FG accuracy. You don digest am? Does he look like he'll be worried if the 3pt line will be wiped off? Warriors would probably not break the record considering they need to go 16-3 in their last 19 with 3 of those against Spurs. OKC sef still dey there ooo. A warriors fan once said he fears when warriors plays 76ers than against Spurs, lol. Remember 76ers almost won them. Please, bros, na still 3pt warriors dey use win? 5 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 4:44pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
Skywalker5:injury will disrupt any team anything happens to kawhi,Bron or Durant none of their team is winning anything. JJ reddick is a great 3point shooter curry is another thing entirely you really should look at his number when he finishes at the rim curry is way more than shooting that last okc game even shows that. Duncan great has he is,isn't that important to the spurs anymore Leonard is the king in San Antonio now. even pop admits the warriors, worries him. you know I heard this Simmons dude can't shoot. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Skywalker5(m): 6:01pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
SIRcumalot: I am not disputing Curry. He is the a 3 point god. I have not seen anything since Reggie miller and in my own opinion he is better than Reggie and no one comes close to him.i know his shooting percentage is also good.If you look at Spurs,Duncan Parker and Ginobili have been on injury list this season but there are guys who can pick up the slack. Lets looks at the warriors and forget the number of wins.Do you think they can manage without Klay or Curry? i feel spurs have enough players who are ready to destroy any opponent. I am just worried for the warriors. what do i know. I will have to wait till March 19 before i can really decide which team i think is stronger. I am not a Spurs fan but those guys look more dangerous than warriors. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 6:09pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
I go with Oohmpa and Eruditor. There are not too many ways to stop the Warriors since you definitely cannot beat them to their own game. I can't wait for our Festus to come back into action before Verajao takes his place |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 6:17pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
Skywalker5:look at the numbers oohmpa put up in that post above, curry is finishing 60% at the rim. concerning the spurs that is because of a deep bench but you need a star am certain the spurs won't win if kawhi or aldridge goes down. |

Re: The NBA Begins by kliq(m): 4:55am On Mar 11, 2016 |
Skywalker5: Well let's see how it ends, it's just 19 games left for them. Shutting Curry down won't be so easy as he's a great ball handler (play maker) you put 2 guys on him he finds a way passing the ball to a free man. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Skywalker5(m): 5:44am On Mar 11, 2016 |
kliq: It's not going to be easy.Lots of player have struggled to contain him.I just find it odd this guy's are winning using three points as their main weapon.it's just crazy and have not seen anything like it.I don't think any team in the last 10 or 15 years have won championships without having a very good center. 1 Like |

Donlittle: I follow college basketball religiously, this year's draft class lacks depth, don't construe me here..i am not implying none would blossom in the future..nooo. but you can't hinge the rebuilding of a franchise on any of these players. Ben Simmons (LSU), Denzel Valentine (MSU) Buddy Hield (Oklahoma Sooners), Melo Trimble ( Maryland) Marcus Paige(North Carolina) Perry Ellis (Kansas) are these guys worthy of tanking? Personally, i think they should stay another year in college. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:08pm On Mar 12, 2016 |
At 25 DaMarcus Cousins does not have the luxury of time anymore, i would be disappointed if his talent continues to rot as he ages. The Kings need to sort of the relationship between Cousins and George Karl, the animosity exhibited through power struggle between both is obvious, no team can succeed with such especially when it involves your franchise player also if the kings are not going to surround Cousins with potent and experienced players i think he should move to a franchise where he is not best player but an important player. |
