Has it ever occurred to the Northerners what it takes to have Women of substance in the society?

They should be ashamed of themselves with their kinda orientation.

I'm proud to be a father of two lovely girls and with the GRACE of the almighty, I will make them get to the peak of their lives.

Even the so called free education is not totally free but somewhere in the north they are paying parents to send their daughters to school. What a country we live in

And what makes you think the children in the north are not passionate about education like the kids in the south

The parents are wiser now, imagine the said elders scrambling to marry of their young daughters, another law should be added to the project, any hediot that wants to marryany of tthe girls before marriable age of at least 20yrs should be hanged by the balls and made to pay back those money spent by the government on the said girl's education.
My opinion though

What a pathetic situation.

Good development from the sokoto state government.I will also suggest that in addition to the 5000 naira, the child should also be given free food during school hours. This is to encourage them to stay in school.

The meal should be given almost closing time to avoid pupils disapearing as it happened in kaduna.
hmmm bros the way you people do your own things and reason affronts civilized comprehension. Pls what century and planet are you northeners from?

Very lopsided. If they want to do something for people who send their children to school, they had better do it for ALL people who send their children to school

Why should the North be more privileged than the South? They should make this female education free for all, or get rid of it.
