His weight loss is Eggcellent! He'll sure lose more on the Meat and Ugu Vegetables. You can vary his meals by cooking his meat as Peppersoup, also adding Titus Fish and "Green" Vegetables (Spinach) very yummy. It's also low calorie too. Just boil the Fish and add to the Vegetables while steaming. I do get him on being tired of eggs. I also get tired too, the only thing that keeps me is looking at my end goal and preparing the Eggs in a different way. My 3rd Egg fast last year, I could only eat eggs by adding them to my Coffee and that's what I did all through. At least he has experienced it and can always employ the Egg Fast if and when needed. Well done too, you're doing great by being his pillar.

No idea. But I must let you know that there are dangers in using drugs/supplements to gain weight. You can also try to read up on the side effects too. Such drugs are better prescribed by a Dr in the right dosage because they can have adverse effects on the body and Fertility too.

Here our approach and discussion is on weight gain and weight loss using food and natural methods. We don't advocate drugs and supplements for weight loss / Weight gain here. You can use Dates (Dabino) mixed with Cucumber to make a juice and drink. You'll add flesh and look refreshed. If you read backwards, some ladies here have tried it and confirmed that it works. Take care.

Well done, you've taking the 1st step by putting together your ingredients. I'll suggest you ditch the cheese. Cheese stops some people from losing weight on the Egg Fast and in general. Or it can just minimize the weight you lose. If you want something different to keep you sane, go for Calorie Free Soda and Sugar Free Gum.

Yes am back to work but still drop in several times daily but just not as much as before. Am here for you, just let me know once you start so that I can Egg you on. May you lose Eggcellently. Am planning on an Egg Fast by next week Tuesday. I would've started Monday but have a sendforth lunch but am just keeping to zero carb which is all edibles from the animal kingdom.

BMI does not tell u everything u need 2 know about ur weight. For one, it doesn't take into consideration ur Lean muscle mass dat is why wrestlers, boxers n body builders may weigh tons yet u can't nessecarily say dey are fat. Infact dey are healthier weight wise dan we ordinary spectators. Lean Mass is everything else that makes up your weight. It includes muscle, bones, organs, water, and all non-fatty tissues. But there is a gender difference. Thanks to much higher levels of testosterone, men have a greater amount of muscle mass than women. One pound of muscle takes up much less space than one pound of fat. So, as you exercise consistently and build up strength, your total body weight may not change on scale, this can be confusing (and sometimes scary), but you are gaining muscle, while loosing fat.
Gains in muscle mass will increase your metabolism, thus enabling you to burn more calories during every activity—even sitting! So, while you do want to lose fat, setting a goal of increasing your muscle mass will help you get there. This is based on new research because we Africans js know d old theories about weightloss n we remain there. Gaining muscle mass is synonymous wit loosing weight (fat), u rob Peter 2 pay Paul. Dts js d summary of all these english. It was js a suggestion 2 Favoredgal, I neva sed she must tke it. I do know this. If you've been following my posts on this thread you'd have read me mention it and even the fact that the scale is not a good way to measure but that doesn't mean that the scale is useless. I wasn't insinuating that you were pressuring her to take your advise. In fact I think am the one who could have accessed of pressurizing her to serve him all his eggs with yolk, but guess what she still took a decision she's most comfortable with which is perfect. Here is a free forum where anyone can share their opinion and that's what I was doing when I said that it's not wise for a man to weigh 100kg plus especially if he doesn't have a matching height to go with it. You'll also agree with me that a man weighing 100plus who is trying to lose weight and egg fasting to do this definitely has a high body fat percentage and should be encouraged to ditch the body fat in a healthy way like he's doing. And believe me, you'll need to burn off body fat in whatever way before you can get and see body muscle definition like the 6 packs. Don't be offended, all I share is just my opinion and I don't know it all.

Am not trying to take away from your post or his achievement in 2 days, yes exercising may have helped him lose more (or not) but go to the Egg Fast page and you'll see men and women who lose as much as he did and even much more without exercising. That's the beauty of the Egg Fast. I actually lost 2.1kg in 4days of a very imperfect Egg Fast (lots of cheating) plus the fact that I lose weight slowly because of PCOS and I didn't exercise in any way, I was at home and slept through most of it.

lol. am sure he'll thank you for the cheese. why not start in the morning of any day you choose to so that you can count your Egg Fast days properly? Just my thoughts. You're very strong though to want to do this over a holiday break, well that's except you're not celebrating Easter for any reason. Good luck.

Lol @ your Mbanu. I said so myslef until I tried it and it was yummy and had no eggy taste. It tastes like Coffee or Tea with Milk. The only draw back is that neither is good for ttc because of the Caffeine content especially if one is going above one cup per day.

If you eat 1 Egg, then you must also take either 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil or Coconut Oil or Real Butter or Mayonnaise whichever one you choose but it must not be per sitting. The important thing is that at the end of each day if you ate 12 Eggs throughout the day, you must also make sure you took 12 Tablespoon of whichever Fat. Sometimes I eat my eggs Boiled and then just drink the oil straight from the spoon.

Other Recipes you can try are:
1. Mix Mayonnaise into your eggs and then fry with Oil or butter. For instance if you want to fry 2 Eggs, you add one tablespoon of Mayonnaise to the Eggs and mix, then use one tablespoon of oil to fry. Some people say it's yummy, I didn't really like it though.

2. You can make Egg salad by cutting up Boiled Egg in pieces and mixing with appropriate quantity of Mayonnaise. Chill in the fridge and eat. Its more yummy if cold.

3. Egg Pancake : Break Eggs in a bowl, add a little artificial sweetener, add oil or butter (in appropriate quantity), add a dash of ground Cinnamon or Nutmeg. Beat together and Fry in appropriate measure of oil or butter.

These are all that come to mind now. You can invent recipes, just make sure you use 1 Tablespoon of Fat for 1 Egg.

Any brand is OK. just follow the dosage instruction on the bottle. Am glad you have a regular period now. Have you checked to be sure you ovulate? Have you done other testing for you and your DH to rule out other issues? if yes, then relax. It will happen soon by God's grace. You know the statistics is that it takes a healthy couple and average of 1 year to conceive but this shall not be your portion The cost range is from N2,500 to N3,500 depending on the pharmacy and location.

Congrats on your weight loss, you've done a very good job. Please share with us what you did to achieve your weight loss goal. It could help me or some one else. TIA.

He weighed himself this morning and has lost 2kg in two days but he said he can't continue after today cuz he is irritated by the eggs already

So by tomorrow we will transition into steamed ugwu and meat for two days then see where that takes us to by the weekend

@chom4shizzle he does weight lifting and aerobics as part of his daily weekday routine. I fed him half yolk
2kg in 2 days, dats impressive/encouraging. Can't wait to c my no going down too. Hopefully I wouldn't get tired of eggs pretty soon

Hello sisters, I sure need to start working on myself. I'm 79.5kg now and still breastfeeding 14month old baby but will like to start trying for #2. My aim is my pre pregnancy weight which is 67. Do I have to stop breastfeeding first or can I start while breastfeeding. I would like to breastfeed her till she's 2. I don't mind breastfeeding while pregnant with #2. What do you all think?

Ok. that's good to know. Please ditch the wheat it's not good for ttc. Rather grind Oats and make oat fufu or use Unripe Plantain Flour. As for Ovulation, why not see a Dr to help with Ovulation induction and timed intercourse? Just my thoughts. I do pray that you do ovulate and get preggy on your own though.

You just gotta love Fritata. But it can't be taken on the Egg Fast though. It has other ingredients, Potatoes, Fish etc but it's good and yummy outside the EF. Abeg enjoy your Easter.

I am weighing 94kg and my height is 5'4inch and I need to reduce my weight. My target weight is 70kg and I need to reduce 24kg.

I will start the egg fast by tomorrow, I hope I am welcome. I will like to do the egg fast for 7 days and will be updating my weight every 4 days.

@Favouredgal, congrats 2 DH. He shud transition nw 2 Low carb High fat diet so as not 2 gain all dt weight back again, evn if he gains some back, not 2 worry, its probably water frm fruits n veggies adding 2 d kg bt it will eventually go down.

Wowza! Congrats to you and your hubby. Nice meal but hoping that the Vegetables is the bulk of it and not the potatoes. Please feed him Low Carb intact very low carb so that he continues losing in addition to what he has lost on the Egg Fast. You can even try out the sample Menus I posted in earlier pages. They contain 9ja meals with portion control and works well for weight loss. Abeg keep updating us & inspiring.

I'll suggest you leave the Egg Fast for now, you don't want to compromise on your baby and Milk Supply too. Just go to page 66 and adopt the Meal Plans I posted there, they're about 4. I've tried them and they work. They're varied with 9ja foods. Then when you're done nursing you can still do the Egg Fast if needed.

Iv been loosing my baby weight by eating a lot of sweet and Irish potato, steamed ugwu, stir fry beans (no palm oil), moin moin, boiled egg whites, whole wheat potato, etc. And staying away from rice, bread, and fast food

I also exercise 4/5 times a week for an hour on the average

Im almost back to my pre pregnancy weight and my baby isn't 3 months yet

Hubby also came down from 121kg to 105kg on this lifestyle change eating/ exercise before he hit his plateau.

Oh thanks...... My problem is the exercise thing. I'm always with my baby 24/7 and always use her nap time to study. I only take her out for an hour walk everyday but will try more anyway thanks. Another thing is my menstration is not yet back after 14months of childbirth.
