first time am posting here, my 3 weeks baby has a slight heat rashes...someone suggested Shea butter with funbact A, another suggested agnesia powder...pls which is d best or is dia any other thing I can apply on his body?

Shea butter alone is okay!( not a fan of funbact A) when my son hard rash I used only coconut oil and it cleared withing days without any residual marks!

My advice, don't use funbact A unless prescribed by a Dr. Rising raving powder s wot I use and it works well for me.

Hello mothers in the house.. Please can anyone suggest any iron fortified cereals brands or formulas for me?
My 10months old baby has these greenish color to her skin at her back and shoulders. It started from her shoulders, at first I thought it was the immunization marks but then it appeared at her back too. She gets really weak and tired these days too. When I googled this, It was described as an iron deficient anaemia.
Any experts in the house, please help.. Thanks

LOL...same with my lo, he has two already. No itch at all. But I dont think its the immunization (didn't give mine not until dis month when we went for our 9 months immunization) I just think some babies are just lucky.

Sorry sis, I can totally relate with the feeling
Ensure he latches well while feeding
Burp him after each feed even if he falls asleep while feeding
Tummy time also helps(place him on his tummy for few mins per day either on d bed or ur tummy )
Bicycle motions with his legs too while lying on his back(pls don't do wen he has a full tummy)
Circular motion/tummy massage too helps
Sure other mamas too will contribute

Were you using complan as a normal milk? You're rich oh. I always see it as a special kind of milk for weight gain and the rest. A pack of it doesn't stay more than 4 days for my daughter while in use with a toddler milk. Please tell me what has been your experience with it and Horlicks too cos am yet to see the effect of complan on my lo.

I once checked the review of Horlicks and read how it was giving babies sleepless nights, I ran from it. Please tell me if that's true.

My daughter cut her first tooth at exactly 9 months then the second 2 days after. Now she's 13months with only 2 teeth while her mates have as many as 8 but am not bothered, I know they'll pop out when they want to. We can't force em. So relax.

The only disadvantage is that she can't eat the type of food her mates are eating like rice grains without mashing, for her is 1st class vomit. So I have to mash and make sure it's smooth.

Maureensylvia, if its heat rashes, first off, stop swaddling! Over wrapping a baby in this heat is simply inhumane!
A baby should only wear one extra layer of clothing than an adult.
Use very light flannel to cover, except when its cold.
Please use AC if you have, fan of you dont. Buh regulate the temp so that when u fall asleep, the AC will stop once the temp is to a certain point.
Dont let your baby lie directly under the fan.

For the heat rash, it wont subside until you cancel what is bringing out heat all over.
