why shouldn't they celebrate, at least they were able to give an answer to the mayhem the fulani are causing in Nigeria unlike we in Lagos that just kept quiet while they killed us and burned our houses. Honestly, sometimes I wish I was Igbo.

So, three persons went to search for them. Sadly, three of them were equally abducted by the same gang as they went without weapons.”

Unconscious truth telling = Freudian slip.
- Do they use to go about with weapons?
- Where the first set armed? I mean the first one that got 'kidnapped'
- Who issued them the weapons and for what purpose(s)?

Armed Fulanis are everywhere, thats the truth.

I really don't know what to say of Nigeria's military, so their business is now to search for missing herdsmen and shoot at unarmed protesters and arrest youths protesting herdsmen destruction of their farmlands. I cringe for such a useless country.

My man u no know say their number 1 kinsmen na one Buhari?
Their number 2 'kinsmens' na the whole Fulani and Hausa dominated army.
Their number 3 kinsmen na senators way get stocks and shares for their business.

Army go cease gun from Book Haram, senate go applaud their bravery, PMB no go say whee as Army go carry d guns give them cow raiser brothers.

We've No Hand In Abducted Herdsmen - Abia Community

Leaders of Ngodo, Mbaugwu-Uturu community in Isikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, have denied any involvement in the alleged abduction of five Fulani herdsmen by suspected gunmen.

The herdsmen were allegedly abducted in the bush when their cattle grazed on some farmers’ crops in the community.

The South East Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Alhaji Gidado Siddiki, who told journalists in Awka, Anambra State about the kidnap of the herdsmen, fingered the local vigilantes in the incident.

In a swift reaction, the President-General of Mbaugwu-Uturu Community, Mr. Maduike Damian, refuted Siddiki’s allegation.

He said: “I am on top of that situation. But that act was not carried out by our people. In fact, we have mobilised our youths to assist the police in fishing out the culprits. I married from the North and as such, I wouldn’t support any act that will bring us on a collision course with the Fulani.

“In fact, the report available to me has it that there are a group of hoodlums living in that bush for about a year now. I was surprised,” Damian said.

A senior Army officer involved in the military’s search for the missing herdsmen told The AUTHORITY that “in my capacity I can’t talk to the press but my commanding officer will get back to you for details. He is currently in a meeting in Ohafia.”

A youth leader in the community, who would not want to be mentioned for security reasons, said they have mobilised to assist security agents to trace the victims.

In his narration, Siddiki had claimed that two herdsmen were first abducted before three others were “kidnapped by a gang of vigilantes.”

Siddiki said: “Some gangs who claimed to be vigilantes in Ngodo, Mbaugwu-Uturu community, Abia State, invaded the camp of two Fulani herdsmen and abducted them. Their cows, as a result, were scattered in the bush. Initially, when they didn’t return to the camp the following morning, their colleagues at a general camp thought that they missed their way. So, three persons went to search for them. Sadly, three of them were equally abducted by the same gang as they went without weapons.”

According to him, “we went to Okigwe Divisional Police Station, Imo State, to report the matter but they said that that area is not under their jurisdiction. So, we went to Isikwuato Police Division, they also declined having jurisdiction there. We had no option than to report to the military in Abia State.”

Forget about looking for them because they are all dead, we don't joke with Animals in human form in Abia, we are not like other Nigerians, I said it that we the good people of Ngwaland does not take shiit from any muslim or fulani shiit, they are dead and nothing anyone can do about it.

They should look either southW or NW for their mess.

Which kain rubbish be all these yeye blunders all over the place.

The word should be "implicated" and not "manipulated".

Say no to basic lexical blunders...

It's Nigerian English, very common with journalist recently. Started in blogs and surprisingly crept into mainstream media news. Vanguard, Punch, Guardian, Thisday, etc. wink wink wink

It is Isuikwuato and not Isikwuato. I trust my people. My people single handedly drove them out of Eluama when one of the herdsmen poked a stick in my mum's face some years ago.

Up Uturu! The birthplace of my great grand parents!
