yaki84: Like Okonjo-Iweala was addressing the nation, right? What has addressing the nation got to do with the matter at hand? When last did Buhari himself address the nation? How do you come about the logic that addressing the nation shows you're in charge? |

The woman and the people responsible for your woes are the competent ones while the ones trying to fix your problem are the incompetents.... Only in the warped world of ignorant and unintelligent #iPoDZombies.. |

yaki84: See this fellow comparing the fate of a nation of 180million people to a football club! This is the crazy impunity and carelessness that obtained in the past administration. By the way, all the big premier league clubs had their rough patches, yet we can see Man City is still fighting in the prestigious champion's league and rooting for a qualification for the next. This is unlike the April and May scarcities of last year which we all know was caused by mismanagement. Don't twist history please, it is very recent. The fg budgeted about 150billion for 2015 budget because there was no money. By April/May, they were already owing over 200billion for subsidy and differential. This was the cause of the scarcity, not pdp's loss. |

drss: So they can be sold at peanuts to cronies like aluko & co. Even at that if they were sold was there plan to build new modern ones to replace the old ones? Nigeria happens to be the only major oil producer that is having problem refining crude for local consumption what a shame despite NNPC receiving about 300,000 barrels a day ......smh |

Bola Tinubu, the political leader of the self-acclaimed 'we are the most shofischicated tribe in Nigeria' has been settled by Buhari who appointed Tinubu's boy, Fowler, as boss of Federal Inland Revenue Service - FIRS. After oil ministry which Buhari now heads, FIRS is the second money mill in Nigeria. Last year alone, FIRS generated close to N4.8 trillion to Nigeria's coffers. At a campaign rally in Lagos last year before the presidential election, Tinubu boasted before TV cameras that he went to plead with Buhari to come out from retirement to contest the 2015 presidential election. People of the most shofischicated tribe still admit that they know that Buhari is an economic illiterate but voted him president . 1 Like 1 Share |

drss: This is very STUPID Go and ask people who know the industry. It was under Dieziani that no extra barrels were added to Nigeria's oil and gas reserves. Exploratory activities dropped and they were not even paying joint venture partners. On the downstream side They did not build new refineries in spite of all the oil money Nigeria was making. The woman herself knew nothing about the industry. She is an architect who worked in community relations in Shell. A lot of you are very very ignorant. On the retail side. The only interest this woman had was importing petrol and diesel through a few marketers and doing sharp practices. In all her interviews her main claim to fame was that there were very few petrol queues in her tenure... LOL. Few petrol queues of an imported product that we should be producing for the local market and exporting. Very big disgrace. Simple common sense dictates that the current problem a country faces is usually the result of bad things done in the past. So why are people being cowardly in saying the truth about this bad woman?. It is not all negative for Nigeria. Nigeria currently has more trained manpower globally than all the other third world countries except India and Iran but this is not Buhari's achievement but the result of things we did right as a people. Nigerians suffered a great deal to train their children so we are enjoying the 21 billion dollars that these people working abroad post home. In the same way your current power and fuel problems are due to the mis management of PDP ..face the fact and accept it. The past determines the present so PDP is to blame...very simple. |

obailala: Nigeria uses 40 million litre per day. If govt fails to splash #2.3 trillion, then the citizens buy fuel at #200 per litre. So citizens splash extra #114 per litre (#200 - #86). So multiply #114 by 40 million litre by 1 year and You will know that this govt is evil. APC is evil 4 Likes 1 Share |

RedCapChief: Your last paragraph. If Buhari doesn’t care about what people thinks, why did he appoint ministers with cases if corruption ? On the contrary, the people he's making happy are those in the inner circle of the Apc abd the Fulani herdsmen. I think I agree with you on your submission of Gej. But Buhari has not proved to be any better... 3 Likes 1 Share |

BLWeb: Okay, let me remind you of THREE: 1. Diezani stopped the menace of kerosine explosion that was claiming lives of Nigerians on daily basis the moment she became Petroleum Minister. 2. Diezani restored the purchase of fuel from filling stations leading to numerous new stations scattered all over the country. It was during her tenure that Nigerians saw fuel attendants practically begging motorists to buy from their own pumps. Given time, filling station managers would have gone on air to advertise their stations. Today, without Diezani, you sleep in fuel stations without fuel 3. Diezani helped to keep fuel price at N84, even when oil barrel price was high, but today even with the fall of oil two-men petroleum ministers could not do what one woman did. How much do you buy fuel today, even when oil barrel price is lowest? Do you now eat your pride and celebrate this great woman of ideas and give a liitle prayer for her recovery!!! 1 Like 2 Shares |

You are not bothered about Nigerians sleeping in fuel stations because of bad governance? It is only witches and wizards that are happy when others are suffering. I salute you! |

yaki84: 1. We are all Nigerians and we all saw what happened. There are consequences when you made over $100/day per barrel for almost half a decade and ruled for 16 years but still failed to add 1 single refinery to the 4 on the ground that you killed and refused to maintain or keep operational for 16 years. 2. This woman, GEJ and 16 years of reckless, corrupt and lack of future planing got us to this point and to expect decades of rot and decay that manifested this issue to be fixed within months shows how unrealistic, unintelligent and disingenuous many of you people are. 3. You sat and didn't say a word when they damage was being done, when no refinery was funded by the same people who preferred making money from subsidies instead of investing in refineries and fixing our 4 refineries, but now that the chicken is now home to roost, you gave a lot to say and blames to apportioned where it doesn't belong.. 4. For the 16 years of rot, decay and lack of planing, we have to endure the challenges while they solve our problem once and for all. 5. For now, we know what happened and how it happened so stop insulting our intelligence as if this problem dropped from the sky or some people were never in charge for 16 years and refused to fix the problem or plan for tomorrow.. 2 Likes |

Pls... u guys should forgive buhari, it is not his fault honestly. It is the natural phenomena surrounding his origin and tribe. Fulanis are known to be walkinson or wanderer, that's the thing they are good at. You people can see it yourself, he has been busy travelling around the globe, just like typical fulani nomadic man. And this yoruba pastor don't have liver to take control of piloting the affairs of the country, what we require now is GOD intervention. 1 Like 1 Share |

obailala: Don't take it personal , friend. It's just that we are all so fed up with hearing blames for everything on the previous government. Gosh! That's why Nigerians elected Buhari, to change what seems wrong for the better. The FACTS, the real FACTS, as they appear now, is that not much was wrong with the administrative policies of the previous government. What we had were cleverly distorted perceptions of what the previous government did or did not do. In other words , we were socially engineered by the opposition forces to see and view the previous government the way they wanted us to see them For me, the inability to counter this distorted perception was the greatest failure of the GEJ government. Believe it or not, politics is more about perceptions than real facts. The sad thing now is that APC has nothing to offer than a continued resort to perception management; still campaigning against the previous government,. Something they did very effectively. 1 Like |

Yes oooooo!!! Deziani deserves an award. Boooohari just dey deceive himself there, they accused Deziani of hoarding NNPC money instead of remitting it to the government. Now, they are the ones withholding even more money than the previous government.... And they say they are fighting corruption, funny! Everyday we witness corruption koro koro with our eyes when we have to pay over three times the regulated amount for fuel and they say they are fighting what again? Rubbish! 1 Like |

How many times did you and your likes staged OCCUPY NIGERIA protest because GEJ government tried to go after subsidy fraudsters? salam1:and what is the good thing they have done since grabbing power? just name one.. in 5 years of GEJ , there was no single day of fuel scarcity...none except when PMB won and marketers went on strike for GEJ to settle them as PMB may not....that was it...so even that one was caused by PMB. PMB to me is a big disappointment.. very big one..He is a loner, does not meet with ministers regularly, does not think deep enough and a lot of gaffes.. back and forth ....much as GEJ is spineless , PMB I must say is shameful or disgraceful.... I will rather choose spineless character than one who will put me to shame.. nine of his promises has he even fulfilled as if he forgets.. maybe.. |
