I expect a new bill to be introduced by the NASS soon. The bill will seek to criminalise the publication of people's phone numbers and emails without their consent. Watch out! 2 Likes 2 Shares |

His house is the easiest to locate if you live on the island so you dont need an address to visit him. But why will they release his phone number or address, is he holding any "elected political post" Did you see SR release GEJ's number or anybody who aint an elected politician Acidosis: 6 Likes 1 Share |

herbie27: The reason they are in NASS is because they wanted to serve the public so why should they have privacy, when they should have been our servant rather its the other way round, in advance countries, you know the name, age, house number, office number and personal and official phone number of your rep or senate, thats why they are called public servant, so i see don't see anything wrong in having their number. If they have been doing or had done the right thing or enact a law that will better the masses livelihood, do you think people will care to call them? Even if we decide to call it will be to show appreciation for a job well done. Acidosis: So what you're basically saying is that since there is link btw Tinubu and SR they should not post any news, if any senator or rep member see this as witchhunt or threat then they should do likewise and expose their counterparts who are corrupt as well, that way the blame and load will be shared evenly. So i should keep quiet and watch while they make and enact silly laws to favor themselves and their associates alone while there are thousands of masses in prison for just stealing #1000 , while a man who stole billions of pension fund is still enjoying his money after he bailled himself with #300, same can't be said for another who stole a goat and he is in prison for the past 5years in remand.... yet we cry foul everyday while we support impunity and corruption by our so called public servants. 3 Likes |

maestro2000:Courtesy demands that it should only be the work/office numbers of the Senators that should be available to the public, and not their private lines. In the West, constituents either email their Reps (via work email) or call the office phone. 1 Like 1 Share |

Okijajuju1: BROS... Dey there!! as far as I'm concerned.. that guy is one of the longest running senators in that house; he's been a senator since either 1999 or the 2nd half of Obasanjo's regime . If people as daft and empty-headed as Useni can be senator for this long, its little wonder why the legislature is comatose and backward compared to their peers in other progressive thinking countries. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Can someone tell Sahara Reporters to give us phone numbers of the ministers . We need to call them too, unless they want us to believe they are working very well. Until we begin to measure the sins of our leaders with the same spoon, we will continue to revolve around same circles. Its very shameless what journalism has become in this dispensation. SR have just confirmed the assertions that they are just a tool for those not too favourable to the Executive's wishes. They never sent us the Petroleum Ministers number when there were ( and still is) endless queues. We didn't see Fashola's number when there was total blackout in the country. And the list goes on. #ineedphonenumbersofministers 4 Likes 1 Share |

CFCman: Sir its not always the same, my wife had to call the governor of illinois directly in 2014 when her nursing license was delayed due to background check, she has never met or talk to this person before, the nursing board said the only person who can waive the background check issue is the governor so we had no choice than to call, although it took some days to get a hold of the governor but we did talk to him and it took just 1 day to get a reply back from his secretary and we got the license, so pls there is nothing special in having my representative number, just that some dumb nigerians will be calling for #100 recharge cards or tuition fees as if they are their parents, although if they had done or have been doing the right thing there is no reason for us to call them to demand for help. The dumb nigerians are calling because they know NASS have the money, imagine a NASS member taking home the salary of a level 7 officer, do you think we will bother to call them for help? 1 Like 2 Shares |

Splinz: Ok if you can't sacrifice your #100 naira, then dont cry foul, when there is no pay rise to wages, salary and when there is no visible development to your locality. I am sure you're happy with the current state of our country, where over 90% of the populace cannot feed themselves 2 mealsa deal. |

maestro2000: Yes, some people will misuse the opportunity to ask for frivolous things; that's why I believe it would have been better if Nigerians bombarded them with emails. That way, the Senators' staff would sift the wheat from the chaff. The line your wife called may be the Illinois governor's work phone, because it was his secretary that answered the call. 1 Like 1 Share |
