I lodger my application to EA on the 11th of April this year,and the outcome came in early today 21st April 2016 I did the fast track one.I applied as a professional Engineer, but in the outcome letter, they said my qualification is equivalent to Engineering Technologist. And that my degree is equivalent to Australia Qualification Framework as bachelors degree. I want to know if this qualifies me to v the 15points.

I wrote IELTS last year, I had above the 6.0 band score but my score didn't fetch me points.however I did PTE jst last month on the 16th of match, result came out early the following day,17th march.
Listening 81
Reading 90
Speaking 84
Writing 80
As it is now, my total points accumulated
English test -20 points
Age-32----- 25 or 30 points,by end of November I wld b a year older, I really don't know which point to pick 25 or 30
Bachelors degree(elect/ elect engineering with telecommunications option--------- 15
Total points= 60 or 65 depending on age point
I want the dons in the house to clarify on the engineering technologist thing.

It depends on the state sponsoring your Occupation.
Most of the State expect that you show POF to be considered for nomination.

Take Northern Territory for Example, minimum amount of what they expect are spell out when u check their site.

residents and Charles Darwin University students.

hello house i know this might sound some how but i am asking becaause i want to know if i have a chance i have like 6yrs banking experience and also after that i worked with a security company as security manager but for the past 3yrs i dont hjave a job i have been doing my thing as in hustking just got a new job now in one oil and gas company as a business development manager. this is my first month in office i am just 38yrs with a bsc in chemistry and i have also rounded up my MSc in chemistry just waitinmg for external defence what are my chances can i quote those yrs i works as experience or i need to start fresh? please help me out thank you

Yes you can apply as job experience is calculated as of the past ten years irrespective of whether you are currently working or not. I would rather you use payslips instead of statement of account.If you decide to use payslips, 2 payslips for each year of work experience ( say January & december ) will do. please see below for more clarification;

Skilled employment:
Only 20 points can be awarded for any combination of skilled employment in and outside Australia
Outside Australia: skilled employment in your nominated skilled occupation or a closely related skilled occupation
• In skilled employment for at least three but less than five years (of the past 10 years)---------------5 points

Check the SOL n CSOL for occupations that match ur experience to know the one u will nominate. Use the website www.anzscosearch.com to see the duties ur required to have done. theres a code beside each occupation, enter this code into the search bar.

Good morning E-family, this thread happens to be the most informative thread on naira-land. thanks all for the contributions. now my question is am a medical lab scientist applying for PR, other than the 52k i have to pay for the IELTS exams, and the 800 AUS dollar my accessing body fee (AIMS), is there any other financial commitment i have to pay during this process? i need to be financially ready when applying for the visa 189.
Also do i have to present a statement of account during this process too.

I read one can use property as proof of funds.
That's what I intend doing; get an estate valuer to get a report on my property and support it with the bank statement of cash available.
