FA Cup final:

Manutd vs Crystal Palace/Watford

The last time we won FA Cup was 2004 or thereabout; this is good, we seriously need this cup.

Anyone thinks Van Gaal might stay if we win this cup?

Even if Utd wins the UCL this season by inexplicable magic, he'd be STONED out of Old Trafford. He's nothing but a quack gaffer who gets lucky whenever his bald head is on line. My deepest desire is for United to qualify for UCL, win the F.A Cup and Gaal chased out of Old Trafford. If this happens, I'll dine with life lions!!

My three best players for the season are DDG, Martial Bobo and Okwute (stone) Smalling. But at the end of the day, it's a clean sweep for DDG in my heart. Take away that ninja and the one nils we manage to score in matches will be cancelled out with ease.

I repeat, the greatest business we did this season was making sure we held unto DDG. If that ninja leaves, my skin crawls at what outputs Romero and co will putting during our matches.

The 2006 side was one in transition. We finished second in the league that year. Ronaldo had started emerging as a beast. Rooney was also becoming a feared striker. Evra and Vidic were signed in the winter.

This year, we are just bumbling from pillar to post with an indecisive manager and players who are very unsure of themselves under him.

There was so much promise at the beginning of this season, with the arrival of high profile talent. The FA Cup was not in our horizon. It only became important when we started falling out of contention in every competition.

I think Mazi has a point tho.
With every passing trophyless season come more desperation both from the fans & directors. The pressure could have a negative effect on the players, especially young ones or new signings.

Martial & Rashford may well emerge next season on the back of an FA Cup win, fully aware of their contributions in no small part to such conquest. We can't play down the use of confidence & it's rub off effect on other young lads in the squad now the institution is searching for any form of bearing to steady the rocked ship.

If both lads can stand up to the task & deservedly displace the senior members of the squad with a trophy to show for their efforts, I expect their mates like Memphis, Pereira or Januzaj to be challenged as well. Not forgetting the defenders from academy too.

There's no question about it- Lukaku IS better.

When you look at that Everton team under that ediot of a manager, it's a wonder that Lukaku has up to 5 goals this season sef, let alone the 25 goals and 6 assists.
From this your post, I can vividly say that DM.'s era was better than that of Martinez

Raumdeuter shey you can see that set pieces are not 'awoof'

That could have been a game changer. Just like Ibra's miss against City.

Meanwhile DDG though....as a pure keeper is anyone better?
No one is better to be frank!

Some will say Neuer, but how many shots on goal does Bayern concede per game?
Would he survive the constant barrage on goal De Gea faces in United?

You might even post statistics that show Neuer saves say 90% of shots on goal per game, but 90% of how many shots?

The few times Bayern get dominated, at least in the champions league, Neuer concedes like a basket.

The most impressive thing is Neuer's Sweeper ability!

You all realise that finishing 5th and winning the FA Cup will see LvG stay at the club right?
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sinizia: 8:17pm On Apr 23, 2016
LVG without a doubt is the luckiest sonofabitch in the world.

Utd puts up horrible footie with no convincing display. Fans wails. Then boom!! Martial Bobo bails him out!!

Utd goes on a "losing" run with terrible displays. Scholes screams for LVG to leave. Then boom!! DDG performs wonders and saves the day as always. LvG miraculously remains.

Utd goes on another winless streak. Suddenly, the much maligned Fat Pele rediscovers his form and saves LVG for 3 more weeks.

United looks set for another insipid boring draw at Old Trafford, skoin-skoin touches Lingaard's brain and he comes up with the winner and saves LVG's scrawny-looking ass for one more week.

United crashes out of anything "crashable" with struggle for UCL qualification even out of our reach, then boom!! A new star called Rashford enters the scene and gives Van Goat another lifeline.

And the annoying cycle continues!! Nothing exceptional about LVG that chose Lionel Messi Fellani as his best player in a Liverpool vs Man Utd match that he was outclassed and out-smarted.

*in Coogar's voice* LVG is a fraud.

Anyone that disagrees with me is a troll!!

We still have to go to West Ham. Even at their worst they will give us a tough game.

Qualification for the champions league is out of our hands. Makes it tougher.

It's not out of our hands. It might be very tough but it's not impossible.

I only want 2 things, we should win the FA cup and LVG out of Manchester United.

We are one match away from the FA cup trophy and 4 match away from LVG sacking.

I believe.

Utd's player of the season clearly is DDG. He's hardly been off his game for the duration of the season and is the main reason Utd isn't in the 10th-esque position like Chelsea. Martial has been great this season but there have been moments he's been found wanting and quiet. Smalling has also been solid but he's been caught with his pants down on several ocassions.

DDG on the other hand has produced brilliant saves game after game after game. Imagine we had Ospina or the departed Valdez in goal, the season would've been woeful.

Surely Lingard has an extra agreement with Van Gaal. Very wasteful. Sometimes he is not seen. Poor decision making. Although he is hardworking.

If the emboldened had happened, you know where you'd find me through out this season? Permanently glued to Livescores.com checking Utd matches' scores through it coz the gory sight of seeing Valdez opening his legs to rein in more goals for oppositions will be worse than watching a Harakiri!!

Rooney played very well. But I don't think Carrick and Rooney are a good sheild to the defence. They did well with the ball, but they didnt tackle much while without the ball. Rooney offered his energy but he refused to dive into tackles, I guess he has Euro 2016 in mind. He however wonderfully saved us from am embarrasing start when he ran all the way back to clear from the goal line after DDG had been rounded by Lukaku.

I will like Phil Jones and Smalling to pair against Leicester, let's see the difference. We should try to have Schneirderlin protecting the defence. Our defending was bad in the second half. From DM to the defence.

Martial's control of the ball is wonderful, mostly on that left side. His dribbling ability, ease of entering the box. He has been so good.

DDG is the player of the season. Martial comes very close. Smalling the next. Blind has his credit for staying fit. Blind and Lingard have been fit, that's why it's like an injustice to drop them. But on a normal day, they wouldn't be in the starting eleven.

"I think we deserved to go in the final. I think the referee, we didn't have any foul in our benefit. He changed the match I think.
"We had so many chances, we could have finished it much earlier.
"They [Everton] came in the match because they get all the fouls, all the fouls around the 60 metre area, then the fans of Everton were cheering. In the first half and before that, no [they were not].
"The referees are deciding the game and not the players anymore."

Van Gaal.

…...….................

Hope the refs won't gang up against him?

And next is Blind, maybe even on par with Smalling. Dude has surprisingly done decent job for the club this season. Let's not be biased due to his stature, it is not his making.
