The person you paid to teach you Igbo is not doing a good job. I suggest you sack him and hire another Igbo lesson teacher, then after about 2 years you can convincingly claim of being Igbo. lustychima: 8 Likes |

Sunky200: The bolded is very important! However my problem with the EFCC is that they re hardly thorough in their investigations. They are quick to arrest and detain, before they start looking for evidences to convict them. Take Sarki's case for example. One would expect that after all these while of itching to prosecute him, they would have a mountain of evidence to indict him. But no! 2 Likes |

I foresee conspiracy against the igbo prominent, money bags ,who can sponsor or support the igbos financially should in case things turn the other way round. Igbos, open your eyes ooo, Mumu Igbo governors, be wise ooo Ohaneze ndi igbo , stand up for your son as they stood for their fulani herdsmen. Remember Savannah Bank and All states trust bank, all these banks were closed by political enemies of the igbos. It was highly politically motivated. Why will Efcc freeze a man of that caliber's account without trial or conviction will you try it with Dangote? 6 Likes 1 Share |

sexybrooke: Please if you don't understand the legalities involved, it would be preferable to get some education rather than spewing ignorance and bringing disrepute to the industrialized and well respected Ibo tribe. The EFCC has the statutory powers to freeze any suspected account during its course of investigation. This is not the time to tribalize a crime rather we should be grateful that something is being done because once it comes to sharing money and corruption, there is not tribal involved. A glimpse of the suspect culprits should give you a better hint. 5 Likes |

sexybrooke:Please I advice you to stop embarrassing yourself, for crying out loud the EFCC is empowered by the law to freeze your account if there are ample evidence that you are involved in shady deals...even police are known to do that nah...so many cases abound. 4 Likes 1 Share |

This is exactly what Buhari did in 1985 chasing people around over embezzlement which made IBB to overthrow him. He has started it again under democracy. What comes next?? Revolution. EFCC has become point and kill. If you are not a friend to the govt, you go down. The fish that dirties water will continue to live in the water. By May 29th, this govt will mark 1 year in office. What is new? arrest... What changes? lie Oh! naija I hail thee |

sleepingTROUBLE: He is only stating the obvious , some folks will start reading meaning to the news ,accusing government of trying to stiffle igno businesses and businessmen forgeting that those men are accused of theft . Is the average ibo man so shameless as to support only thieves? Are you forgeting erisco is owned by an iboman , ifeanyi uba is free, innoson is expanding his businesses And other non thieving ibos are going about their legitimate businesses . So you are trying to justify the injustice done ishmael and his mother , where was God when Abraham was impregnating Hagar? So She is no longer a human with rights because she helped Sarah and even brought goodluck of children to her. Keep fooling yourself 1 Like |

Km Achorise: Well said. Though I think they are wasting their time...most Igbo billionaires know what's up and have most of their liquid assets stached abroad. Last year CBN under Buhari instruction denied Ibeto over $350 million dollar exchange to purchase raw materials, this was done intentionally to suppress him in favor of Dangote. Guess what, he sourced the funds from an unknown vendor abroad, this shocked the federal government, an instruction was given from Buhari to seize his $350 million worth of raw materials. My point is, no matter how they try to squeeze Igbo billionaires with hope that when war starts they will be unable to financially bankroll the war is wasted effort. For one, any potential Biiiafra will be 100% financed by Igbos in abroad. They are prepared to bankroll it for the next 100 yrs not to repeat the mistake of 1967. https://www.nairaland.com/2785036/buhari-shut-ibeto-cement-halts 4 Likes |

EFCC requires a court order to freeze the account of any individual of which a judge must have signed on. From your statment about EFCC ethnic bias, we can conclude Dasuki is one of the long lost sons of the Igbo nation because he has been in detention since forever 2 Likes |

Disclaimer, I am not Ibo and dont believe in their biafra struggle. This government should be cautious on how they fight corruption. Foreign investors and international players are watching quietly. Already we are seeing a sharp decline in foreign investor funds in our economy These cash pull out are not tied to declining oil prices but rather a very obvious irational approach of this govt at making economic decisions; nothing scares investors like a unpredictability A clearcut trial to prosecute the individuals without killing the business approach should be encouraged Otedola and his ilks were treated as such during the jonathan subsidy saga that is why forte oil is still alive today 1 Like |
