If some of these players weren't constantly poached from them, they would have become a power house.
There's no problem adding worldclass players when one is available but most of the team that has become a power house over the years were built around players who's been at the clubs at young age. I'm not talking of the Madrid galactico team but Bayern, Barca, AC Millan, Manutd in their prime.

The Spaniard never wastes a pass, buzzes around the middle of the park and his enthusiasm rubs off on the rest.

They failed to muster a meaningful effort in the second half as the game got away from them. Things must change when Watford come here in midweek.

I really cannot remember herrera stamping his authority in any match, either as a central midfielder or as a #10. It's either the dude is attempting a poor through-pass (usually over-hit) or passing sideways and backwards.

If the Rooney experiment doesn't work, we might need to buy another Central midfielder.
