Guys based on prevailing economic conditions and what we are seeing presently in the market, I'm a little confused here. Which would you recommend for entry presently between FBNH, FCMB and UBA. I would have gone with FBNH without hesitation but I'm not sure why FCMB is not full bid and it isn't. Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

I haven't done an analysis for UBA. But between FBNH and FCMB at today's prices I would go for FCMB reason being more upside and margin of safety

FCMB is full bid ooooo. Closed yesterday at 1.18 and opened today at 1.23 and now at 1.29. I dont know why PZ and Unilever should be selling higher than UACN. I will still prefer to go with UBA.

Nigeria's naira extended its losses against the greenback on Friday amid a jump in demand for dollars by oil importers and speculation of central bank moves to make the exchange rate more flexible, traders said.
The local currency slipped to 345 to the dollar on the parallel market in early trade, down 1.2 percent compared with the previous day's closed.
"More speculators are taking a position in the market, causing dollar scarcity and fall in the value of the local currency," said Aminu Gwadabe, head of the bureaux de change operators association.

On Wednesday, the Nigerian government said fuel importers were allowed from how on to get dollars from the parallel market to help ease acute shortages - likely to result in increased demand for dollars, and more pressure on the naira, as importers increased their orders. smiley

Hello ,
I think UBA is still the best option.

1. It still upside potential
2. Its a liquid stock so offers will defiantly come

For transcorp , people to be careful, its the liquity that will born people's fingers

Sir, FBNH and FCMB will gain more in terms of this oil and gas industries liberation (downstream sector) because they are most one negatively affected by all this impairments charges (bad loans to oil and gas). I will fully go for FBNH grin

Just personal opinion.

Tips: Have u seen the shark price target on FBNH (wait a bit...lol)
