Baby shawls are thicker and I guess mums generally use them for the first few days. Or for moving baby home from hospital. I have never liked them- feel they're old fashioned and use receiving blankets,instead. But to each his/her own


The clips are pegs so clothes on the rack/drier don't fall off.

A scan showed d placenta was quite close to the cervix...and there was absolutely no amniotic fluid during delivery and I never noticed any liquor drain.
Neutrophil count as at yesterday was 91% so I'm currently on heavy intravenous antibiotics...

I hope these info can help doctors in d house to advice other mothers.

I pray that God In His infinite mercies and love not let any mother cast her young again. NEVER AGAIN.

Congrats to team May Ladies that have their babies. God will protect them for us.

Thanks to all mamas that responded, my ds is fine now, I will talk to dh about the hospital trip to rule out any possibility of anaemia, cos of d loss of so much blood.
As for the weight, my SIL said he should be carried with a pillow for now, no direct contact with hand or thru shawl.

Asked if I'm with my bags, I said no, he said I should go and prepare and come back tonight, I objected, that tmrw is my anc so I'll rather come then but he insisted I come back tonight, that I'm in labour already....

Meanwhile... I'm going to church for a program

pls mama, why not go with your Dr's advice, since you are seeing bright red blood? At least they can monitor you if you are close. Awaiting the good news.
