Waste of time. Guerilla warfare ain't conventional warfare. It's most probable they hit and relocate to other country or region. Dialogue will win this situation more than tanks and war ships.

They should give them Odi treatment

MrDavidson:
That's the way to go. The approach should be 2-in-1: military bombardment followed by negotiations when they're really seriously about it, after we've also exerted our own 'pound of recompense' on them.

People like these are the reason why nigeria's breakup is certain wink

Buhari and his military still doesn't want to hear that they can't stop the violence by all these stunts. The real creeks were the boys are, can't be penetrated by those gunships or whatever. It's more like fighting with an unseen enemy. Where do you start from?

It won't be surprising seeing the Avengers rolling out their warships to engage the Nigerian military. Jonathan empowered Tompolo to the extent that he was buying warship from Norway on behalf of NIMASA. That was a very costly thing for a President to have done.

Social media and blog sites are democratic. They give everyone the ability to show off their stupidity in public.

Some of the comment here...

The democratization of foolishness is here.

Now the battlefield is shifting from the Northeast to the Niger Delta. undecided

Why do some Nigerians think they can air their grievances by encouraging violence in their own region?

The North have just finished learning their lesson...... the Niger Delta seem keen on learning theirs.

No matter the casualties on either sides, the land and it's people will suffer for it.

It won't cost him a dime. The only cost is an election loss in 2019. The boko haram madness didn't cost GEJ a pin. The worst was election loss on march 28, 2015 and he has gotten over it.

But this is going to cost Nigeria a lot. This will cost Niger Delta a lot. It will cost Nigerian civil servants a lot.

However, the bombers must continue and the military should leave them alone. Nigeria must be allowed to start afresh and this idiocy is a sure way to achieve that.

Enough of fear fear. Let the bombings continue.

Though injustices have been meted out to Niger-Delta but bombing and degrading their lands isn't smart. Just as you've said, it wont cost Buhari more than 2019 but it'll cost the lands over 50yrs to recover.

Civil war between who and who? Let's say between Ijaw and Nigeria isn't the possible outcome obvious. These Avengers should surrender already to save millions of Ijaw lives.

I doubt if these soldiers know who these militants are. Do you think these a Boko Haram fighters or unarmed IPOB protesters or even civilians that they can easily flex their muscles on? I pity the Nigerian army. These are not shiites for your information Buratai but men of steel and warlords.

The bombers need to be allowed to finish what they started. They must be allowed to destroy everything and anything in sight.

That's the only way to get us all to start afresh because we really need to start afresh.

The bombings are in the interest of every common Nigerian. The Niger Delta will just be collateral damage.
Buhari should take it in Good faith, we need this bombings to criple oild production so that we can go back to geound zero and start actual diversification.
Its a pity the Niger delta would be the sacrificial lamb but their sacrifices would be remembered.

The Rule: Kill them all and keep moving.

The war should be fought now for the country to move on.... ND can't continue to hold the country by the jugular.

- they have ND ministry
- they have NDDC
- they have 13% derivative
- they still enjoy federal government budgetary allocations

What else do they want if not destruction?

Point of correction, they moved in the refurbished war ship *Old move*
The damage was done by 2:15 am, and the NA just moved in this morning. So by now the NDA's might be out of range.... maybe in Lagos sef or Cross river.

Abegy, if the NA catch anything there, na fish or crab them catch, and if them shoot anyone.... e must be an innocent Civilian.

The Creek and Sambisa forest are two different terrains

‪#‎OCCUPYINGMINDS‬: ‪#‎NIGERDELTAMILITANTS‬...Every time a Crude Flow Station is Destroyed by Militants in the Niger Delta, The Environment is Damaged; Our Land is Polluted and Our Communities are subjected to more hardships...Let the Bombing Continue, who will lose?...The Government of PMB is dragging the Nigerian Economy away from Crude Oil; Lagos State has Joined the League of Oil Producing States and the Northern Part of Nigeria whose Reserves have been cynically suppressed over the years will begin production within the next months to two years. With time, We from the Niger Delta would have destroyed our Lands so much that future generation will curse us their Fathers and Mothers for killing their dreams. Let the Stupidity Continue my People...Don't stop the blowing up of pipelines.
Everyone of us thinks that a Blown Pipeline is an attack on PMB and His Government of Change...Insanity on display I must say. Kano and Lagos are Leading the way in Tomatoes Paste Production and Tomatoes don dey scarce shebi? The Northern Landmass alone is about 4 times the entire Landmass of the SS and the SE; Agriculture will revolutionize the North within the next decade...We from the Niger Delta will use our Oil to soak Garri and we think we are punishing Nigeria? Think Again, but Kontinu.
I have been reliably informed, that the More Pipeline we blow-up, the more the Resolve of this President to get the Nigerian Economy off oil...The More the Presidency blocks loopholes; The More the desire for alternative Revenue; The More the Nigerian People get pissed off by our Stupidity. The Future is Lost to the Greedy, Selfish Demons of Today. Blow Pipelines if you can, Nigeria is moving on. We have a President who is capable of making the hard decisions and willing to firmly sustain those hard choices. Blow Pipelines abeg. Let Nigeria Suffer and Let our land be wasted. Kontinu killing your own future by your own hands.
WEEP NOT FOR THE NIGER DELTA!!!
OUR ENEMIES ARE WITHIN!!!

This action taken by the military will only escalate the problem.
Yeah it would and the Niger Delta just like the North East will be collateral damage... For all those supporting those criminals and thinking they are hurting Buhari.... I laugh... Like som1 said and I quite agree, the worse it will cost Buhari is an election we is even unlikely.

They bomb one pipeline, some people cheer
They drive the PMS up, we go to the same market with a frown on all our faces!

Let them continue!
