Give the dog lots of love and let him feel comfy at his new environment first. Create the bond between you and be patient, the dog will turn out good.

Then what are you doing in pet section
Re: This Dog Is Too Gentle, lazy. by KiziitoKennel(m): 6:18pm On May 28, 2016
Hay bro! Your dog need to be socialize.... Limit her movement, And always lock her up in the CAGE at the back of ur house where she can't have contact with people, don't let her always see you with strangers around her cage, make sure you are the only that touches her head, Others should not do so.. And never hit ur dog, I did b4 but I regreted it.... Introduce her to loud noises and that will build her confidence..
I have a rott of 6months old, b4 he is kind of scared, he barks at strangers but as soon they get closed to him, he starts crying...
Since I started locking him up.. He is a Lord gang.. Try it and thank me later..
It my own opinion though!

why?
Re: This Dog Is Too Gentle, lazy. by logadims: 1:57pm On Jun 14, 2016
I think doing the following will help you.

1. Visit the Veterinarian.

2. Physical Exercise.

An unmotivated dog needs attention. All
healthy dogs benefit from a brisk, half-hour,
daily walk on a leash. Go to the park, walk
around the neighborhood or, if your dog is
more than 18 months old, take him for jog.
In a fenced area, play fetch, teach him to jump or have him swim with you. However,
take into consideration your dog's age, size
and breed. For example, an older
Labradoodle is prone to arthritis and hip
dysplasia, so a 10-minute walk might be
sufficient. Short walks and smaller bouts of play are best for a bulldog or pug. His flat
nose makes it difficult to breathe, especially
in warm weather.

3.Mental Exercise

Stimulate the laziness out of your dog with
hide-and-seek and retrieval games. Long-
lasting bones, rope toys with knots at the
end and hard rubber chew toys with a treat
inside keep dogs distracted, challenged and
entertained. Another way to engage your dog is through obedience classes and
training exercises. Consider instituting clicker
training, using a sound to get your dog to do
something, for 5 minutes a day. Obedience
training, such as learning commands on cue,
stimulates a dog's mind because it keeps him guessing which command he'll obey next.

4.Establish a Routine

Dogs do best on a routine. It allows the dog
control over his emotions and environment
because he knows what to expect next.
Feeding, potty trips, walks and crate time are
all activities that should be done at roughly
around the same time every day. When your dog's brain is stimulated, he'll look forward
to his activities and desire your
companionship, physical exercise and mental
challenges.

He's probably either a mixed rottweiler or a mixed doberman. When she develops fully, you can tell better

when u beat ur dog u only succeed in instilling fear. u may end up with a scared dog that runs when any body raises a hand or a dog that ends up showing some aggression, but its out of fear not protection. Aggression out of fear yields no result, the dog eventually gives-in in a challenge.

Hitting a dog causes the dog to loose the confidence in them..doing that would always makes them feel a stranger have the power to intimidate them and that always leeds to a fearful dog.
