Its good to tax churches, mosques any institution money is donated out of free will, but I would better suggest a solution of them giving back to the society eg, if they make 100k/month, they would be taxed 40k, but if they can prove they spent 25k on the society, they would be taxed just 5k.

I feel that way it would mount pressure on public institutions eg church, mosque, some NGO etc to do more.

I even believe the church in Nigeria can rebuild a sector of the economy alone
