When you come to a country that gives freedom you take it with both hands. In Muslim countries you can hadly see churches, every corner has prayer room for Muslims but no church. A university as big as U.I can only boast of a reading room like church where mass (Christian service ) is holds on Saturdays.

I must praise the Osun state muslims for their exemplary behavior by following the law and obtaining this ruling. Rather than take the law into their hands they simply followed due process. That is simply not true. Even in Jeddah, the most liberal Saudi city, as the sun hot reach, one must still put on a hijab.

The hijab should either be uniformly white or any colour that is part of the school uniform to be worn by all, if a student wears any other colour that contrasts with the uniform risks being punished or the hijab seized.

I could vividly remember when my daughter went to school without her hijab on{she normally adorned her head with hijab if she is to go to school} one certain day. Could you believe that her teacher who is Christian had to call me, that's she wanted to know why my daughter wasn't putting on her hijab like she used to do everyday. And I had to explained to her why my daughter wasn't in hijab that particular day, and the teacher was like; oh no problem. The answer is NO.. .They avoid islamic schools like a plague and troop into missionary or secular schools yet the want to wear hijab. ..The same way they shout that western education is a sin yet they avoid going to islamic states like Iraq, Iran, Syria or Afghanistan

They should leave those muslim girls to wear their hijab, moreover before they graduate from secondary school they will get pregnant and leave school. Everything about islam revolves around woman and genitals that's all.

Don't mind them. You'll go to a supposedly religion-free school and we all sing and dance to their Christian songs, make us celebrate Christmas carol and all (for those of us that went to boarding house especially you must be there). There is no problem with this.
In school they will come to you in class or start making noise, sometimes go from room to room early in the morning or stay in front of your room preaching and praying, disturbing one's peace (no problem, they are practising their faith)
I knew how many sets suffered for muslim nursing students to use hijab in my school then (though it had been allowed by nursing council almost 20 years ago), they stood against it's use. Then a 'sister" was admitted and allowed to use her cape (no problem she is practising her faith). My set eventually won the case and Muslim females now use their hijabs, after then the insults and intimidation we faced from some Christian tutors was just crazy, and the most annoying part are the people with terrible behaviours that will later come with pamphlets to try and come and preach to one. I dont understand why the hijab is now so important all of a sudden.What point is there to prove?
When we were in school,you could hardly know who the Christians or Moslems were,except from the names.
We operated as one inspite of our religious differences.

Sweetheart the truth is that Mary was a Jewish woman who practiced Judaism till she died. Same with Jesus. Covering the veil is not a religious practice for Jews but a cultural practice. It was as a result of their dry dusty environs. Even men covered their hair and tied it around their face when the wind picks up the dust.

Even today in Israel religious Jewish women do not wear a hijab-like veil. At most they do not put on trousers.
