Oksman: To question anything, common sense and prudence dictates that you show us data and cost estimate for comparable projects in the same environment down to cost of labor, materials, land, property and relocation settlements, cost of shipping in equipment, cost of dredging materials, cost f rail cars, how much it cost to build a metro rail bridge over the Lagos lagoon, how much it cost to built a power station and what it cost to construct a 54km10 lane expressway. This is what intelligent, knowledgeable and sensible people do, not spew out ignorant and meaningless opinion without facts. |

aresa: Lol. Take it easy with him bro, he might just be asking the question innocently. @wayodude It's a construction process thing. It is better to construct the piers/columns and their appurtenances in the same location and at the same period than first constructing the piers over several kilometers only to move all the machinery back to point zero to start constructing other attachments. This process removes the cost, risk and time of moving the machinery (and material, and man power) about. |
