Cutting the frivolous expenses of the Executive and the Legislative arm of the government and channelling it to pay workers will bring respite to the economy.

it is better to suffer for a few time and enjoy later than to suffer a little and enjoy less all in the name of corruption. Feeling for the victims anyway but the best is yet to come.
My opinion anyways.

You're here buying time for Buhari, as he has been raising your hope. We,ve been hearing this since, some said when Buhari cabinets are formed, things would be better, from then, they told us when Buhari budgets are passed, are here we,re ,moving from worst to worst, the sign of things getting better is not even sighted at the tunnel.
The major and only priority of your Sheik EL-Dullardee is to use state agencies to crush his opponents and his rivals.

I can't believed that people are still blaming oil prices as an excuse for the incompetent Buhari.
There has been case studies of how governments have successful shielded nations from commodity price drop, through sound economic policies and besides, this is not even a global recession. Was it this bad in 2007/8.
What is the point stopping rice importation when, our local industry does not have the capacity to cope with demand locally.
How can a leader be encouraging Nigerians of this age to only farm, when doctors, engineers and other professional are all around this country.
Any good government is never afraid of debt, what it is afraid of is a crippling economy, because a working economy can service it's debt since capital is committed to produce good and services which employ people, and tax returns for government expenditure ,but a crippling economy is simple the death of capital, there is no production,no service and no taxes. The concept of driving a car is not the same for an airplane, but it seem Nigerians have employed a driver for our aeroplane.
Good luck with that,is the least I can say.

Government that have successfully shielded their countries from commodity price drop started by putting agriculture on firm footing first, these doctors and engineers you are talking about cannot do anything if they are not well fed, the importance of agriculture cannot be overemphasized. any government that is not afraid of debt is must likely to enslave the country.go out now and start buying things in debt especially those above your means and you will realized how bad debt is.

To expect half of what you listed to materialise within a year of taking over PDPs decay oozing Nigeria is to be very gullible.

There is suffering in the land but it is sheer mischief and/or low intelligence for anyone to rest the blame solely on Buhari. I have no strength to write long posts. BTW, I dare say we would have been worse off with GEJ.

most people blaming Buhari are just being mischievous. Anyone with little intelligence would have appreciated how the previous governments have completely messed up the country. Unfortunately for Buhari he came at the worst possible time

When the past regimes were busy SHARING the Excess Crude Oil money, nobody cares about the future.

Now that most states can not pay salaries, Buhari is the scape-goat.

So Jonathan na e make states no fit salary? Hmmmmmm..............na waoh!!

Corruption goes with hardship, no corruption goes with no hardship, if there is hunger and suffering in Nigeria now, it means that the APC Buhari led government is more corrupt than the previous government with less hardship.

Nigeria was on the right path but tribalism got in the way and a certain region see power as their birth right...

Thesuffering has only just begun sadly...

You mean the hatred for Buhari is the reason why all this are happening? My God, ppl like you are so disgusting, why can't you just think like you have great things to achieve in life. We are talking about the results and consequences of various unnecessary policies embark upon by Buhari's administration and you're here talking shit about hating Buhari. If Buhari had done the needful and didn't hold the nation to ransom all in the name of fighting corruption, this wouldn't have be happening to us. I don't just get it, all what they keep talking about this administration is FIGHTING CORRUPTION, just only fighting corruption and citizens are suffering. What happen to other aspect of governance? Why will someone place ban on foreign commodities just to aid the local ones when the ones produce locally is not even enough for a state. For example, the total amount of foods produce in Nigeria annually is not enough for consumption for Lagos state alone, not to talk of other states.

Yes, we should have saved....but that won't have helped much.

You mentioned Saudi Arabia. FYI.....Saudi has spent $150 bn out of its savings since 2014.....on buffering their economy. That has caused a lot of panicking in the country. Sure they have $600Bn....but still.

If Nigeria had saved like Jonny the Miser....we would have had at most $100 billion in our savings by 2014 ending.....over half of which would have been gone by now.(And it won't be because of corruption or looting.).

All in all.....Nigeria should not be depending on revenue from oil....or agric or mining. We should be depending on innovation, innovation, innovation.

I do not get it. Yes fuel has gone up, yes forex is scarce and rates are high but using this as an excuse to trade your child or owe for food is baseless.

Even in the days of past governments, things like this happen. I think some people are just mischiveous. Lazy bunchs of individuals. Rather than shouting Buhari, why not use that strength to think and plan alternative source of income. There are services to be rendered everywhere.

Will Buhari distribute money. Haba.
Una they buy data to browse and they shout Buhari, Una they buy airtime to dey call and una dey shout hardship. For where una take see the money.

Car plenty for road like soldier ants and una dey shout no money.

Do your own bits and stop crying up and down

If the total amount of food isn't enough why not you and your family with friends start farming. If you need loan, it's readily available. Help the government and help yourself.

Boost yourself and your economy and not other people's economy. Live to create value and not for survival.

If we can not learn with paddings on our back, I think getting us to learn with blala isn't to much.
