@OP

I feel your pain, I really do but I assure you, the only problem of Nigeria, are the Nigerians. Forget about the politicians, they are a direct reflection of the people.

I really appreciate the gesture of the people offering stipends (If true) to people they don't even know, however tomorrow, after spending this cash, the same benefactors will turn against one another due to tribalism and religious bigotry. This thread has now been hijacked by beggars, yes!! Able bodied Nigerians, who can afford to buy phones and data package, to be able to use this same thread and yet they still complain about Nigeria. As a previous poster said, after the 5,000 Naira, what next? I mean, what next!!!!

This is the difference between Europeans and Africans. Africans think of Now (what can i gain now), that is, the present, while his European counterpart thinks of the future. Some folks will definitely come at me saying shut up, mind your business if you have nothing to offer but I promise them, the situation will not change, it never will. Some folks are even trying to scam the good Samaritans, disguising with multiple accounts and aliases, this is the mindset of the average Nigerian, so corrupt!!!

In any case, I thank the good Samaritans and hope that one day, Nigerians will hold hands together and fight for freedom instead of hiding behind religion and tribalism. Goodnight!

Well said, true talk. My opinion also. Amen. Good night

Dire need met? Some of the people whose urgent and pressing wants have been solved, how and when are they to reciprocate with little or nothing that bring in money

My friend no one is forcing you to reciprocate anything you are just too selfish. The guy who gave you a thousand naira where did he tell you he was working? A Jobless graduate also assisted some people here with what he can. To even know you have a Job yet still begging shows the kind of person you are. With this kind of you mentality, I just pity you. Gosh! Are you even saying if this trend was not posted you will not survive? You are beginning to irritate me, go and sleep.

I have been in half contact with the person that promised to help 20 ppl next week. (I pray God should provide for him)

I am yet to hear from the second person that promised 10 ppl. sad

I think you people should stop mentioning me if I already have your name and account details cos you will only hear from me if there is cash. Check your names here pls,
https://www.nairaland.com/3210525/nigeria-finished-me/94#47351436
and (page 94)

I think its time I drop my account details cos I need help too. Everybody can't benefit from this and nobody is ready to empty his/her account for charity.

I checked nairaland inter school debate thread and most of you claiming students here aren't there. Therefore I have been having an idea on how to come up with a program that will make u use what you have up stairs to get cash and feed yourself if i can get financial support from other nlders that are ready to help too after sorting this particular one out.

Hahaha u think it's unrighteousness dat Nigeria is being punished for?

U think we don't pray or worship God hard enough?

Nothing spiritual is wrong it's all physical.

If we give as much attention to the physical like we give the spiritual, things will start to change.

My sister, Nigerian churches are most concern with raising millionaires instead of Disciples that can serve God in truth and in spirit.

Most churches forget to pray for our fellow brothers and sisters in the north who are dying everyday for the sake of jihad. Is that christianity without love or what? Rather, people will be praying to God for break-through, success, long-life etc while they cannot go for evangelism to win souls to God but they are expecting God should put things right.
Besides, we are just marketers here on earth and our target is suppose to be on the kingdom not on the things of this earth that will someday be destroyed.

Would you like to see yourself in hell fire when you die? I know is not your wish but are you living for God or for yourself? Ask yourself and scrutinize yourself.

It might look nonsense to you but I tell you the truth if only God will open your eyes to see the things of spirituality, you will understand what i'm writing to you. And I pray He does, therefore my sister, most Nigerian churches are not serving God in truth and spirit.

You are welcome to join God's fellowship with us. Fellowship for all christian brothers and sisters from different churches, irrespective of which church you come from. For our Lord Jesus is one and He cannot be divided therefore, segregation is forbidden in our mist.

It is called JESUS DISCIPLES FELLOWSHIP. This is the end time we have to worship God in spirit and in truth.

"He who has a why to live can bear almost any
how." - Friedrich Nietzsche

I have a why to live & I know one day I'd come back here to share not only my testimony but act as a source of inspiration to others.

"He who would learn to fly one day must first learn to stand and walk and run and climb and dance; one cannot fly into flying." - Friedrich Nietzsche

It's a matter of steps, I might not be there now, maybe not in the next twelve months or so but surely I will get there. Not a case of it-would-be-better mentality but an affirmation that I am meant for greater things. I've learnt to stand & walk even when tribulation asked me to sit, learnt to run away from bad influences & claws of evils, climbed the wall of success to leave behind failures, I've danced 2d inauguration melody of success.
A friend once told me, it's high time I flew..
Maybe am afraid of flying, of my sight or maybe am afraid of the weather but the fact still remain that I'd soar like an eagle when the time comes.

I was really enjoying this beautiful thread untill people turned it into beggers forum. Everybody now claiming he doesnt or hasnt eaten for weeks just to get 2-5k.
Some people no get shame, even some monikers wey I know wella wey been de claim say dem de do well, forming bosses in other threads just de drop acc details de beg for money.
Instead wey some of una go ask Ymodulus how him take de make money, cos the guy na confirm business guru wey no de look Uche face, una de beg for 2k. A big shame to Nigerian youths...
If some of una really de serious to end ur "suffering and hunger" una go check Ymodulus threads, cos he has some good business ideas, some of which he has done himself, wey una go even start with that 5k, instead of trying to get free money wey go finish within 2hrs. I DON VEX!

The joy wey I been use start to de read this thread come turn to anger cos of some professional shameless beggers wey just derail the damn thread!

See d reason I said we're our own problem? The same money they'll use in buyin data to come on NL to beg o, what a shame!!! Just d same way politicians gives them money when campaigning just to get into office then after that na story upon story till their first tenure n when dem wan start second tenure again they'll do d same thing they did before by givin these gullible youths money then again lock up till d second tenure ends n d same thing again n again. Any difference between beggars on d streets n those on NL? U be d judge, youths that can't surmmon courage to revolt against their corrupt government, I swear a single nationwide revolt will reset Nigeria, all d nice countries u all are lookin to revolted to be where they are now. Bunch of Cowards!!!
Thats why i said....
One way we the nigerian youths can bring this revolution is through the National Association of Nigerian students (NANS). Since most youths in Nigeria are within the tertiary institutions, the youths through NANS can organise a well cordinated campaign (or protest as the case may be) by linking with the leadership of all higher institutions irrespective of whether private, state or federal accross the country. By this we students can in one piece embark on strike or any other means possible except violence untill all neccessary amendments are made. Believe me if all students are in one direction, the government would have no choice but to grant our desired needs.

Some of the people you call beggars today would be wealthy tomorrow. Please don't come here to mock anyone especially if you have no help to offer anyone here. Those giving out money ain't fools.

If you can eat twice or trice a day don't laugh at the students who cry that they are hungry and have no money. It's reality!

Just read comments if you are not here to put a smile on someone's face. Stop discouraging those whom God is using to show love to people.
