add a lightweight RCWS with 7.62mm machine gun or maybe a AGL.
and u will have a killer platform with good organic surveillance capability at ur hands.

You know what i'm talking about, isn't this a better alternative than what the Nigerian Air Force spent on Honkers?

A light weight RCWS carrying a 7.62mm, a surveillance system and we got a very potent vehicle, even an manned turret would still do fine.

It's a very beautiful build for it's class.

i agree with u 110%.
for established airfields defense , garrison defense , local patrolling , first incident responders role it fits in very well.

just imagine the potential here
1. you have the base version to carry the defenders
2. you can have a surveillance and command and control optimized version
3. you can have a attack version with RCWS equipped with machine guns and AGLs to provide suppression fire to pin down attackers and even fitted with smoke grenade launchers to screen your troops/vehicle movement or to obscure the enemies targets.
4.you can have a ambulance version which can retrieve injured defenders under fire.

the Armour will stop 7.62mm bullets easily , if some are fitted with cage armour , they can act as first line of defense against enemy RPG teams by deleting their ammo , so that main enemy targets are safe.

if it was upto me i would have written a lengthy report and send it to the nigerian military on why to induct this vehicle and how to explore/utilize the many possibilities in a step by step manner through a holistic user / developer interaction and end user feed back.

the hunkers is more useful in establishing / securing unprepared forward area dirt helipads , it can be carried under slung by helicopters and used for patrolling and securing the same for time critical operations.

It's just meant to give you a leadership role, sense of purpose and also to give you some type of structure in their life...They're even allowed to have their phones and they're also allowed to go to town everyday...And also,No they have to apply to the Ministry of Defence first and go through Basic training smiley

Adventures with AMREF Flying Doctors

Somalia, Kenya and the African Union
Having just been to pick up a few more sick and injured soldiers out of Somalia I thought I would reflect a little on the ongoing military situation in this troubled little corner of the world. I was involved in military casevacs very quick; in fact, my first medevac with AMREF FD was retrieving injured Kenyan soldiers out of Kismayo on the Southern coast of Somalia. It has been fascinating to watch the African Union, the Kenyan forces and the UN combining their efforts to bring something resembling stability to the region. I’ve seen the results of this conflict in many different spheres: -I’ve seen the vast refugee camps of Daadaab, retrieved injured Kenyans out of Kismayo, treated African Union troops in Liboi in North Kenya, visited the Somalian army training camps in Uganda, seen the aftermath of the UN compound bombing and a myriad of other terrorist attacks in Mogadishu, chased US drone aircraft along the coast and listened to friends recounting stories of terrifying hostage situations, piracy payoffs and a load more I shouldn’t probably know about. It’s phenomenally complex.
