Islam cannot coexist with any other religion. You can only have peace where there is predominantly one Islamic sect in an area. If christains are there, they would be the target, if there is no christain to target then it shifts to Shittes.
So there can only be peace where there is over 90% Sunnis or Shittes in an area with sharia law else na constant war. Middle east is an example.
