Thanks for your response to my previous question @mr bellong I have another one please and please. I need clarification on an issue, I am a PR applicant with two different professional background, let's say agriculture and customer service, I nominated agriculture based on correlation with my degree and result was positive, on getting to Australia, can I mention my experience in customer service if I find a similar role?, will employers request for my skill assessment certificate before recruitment? Noting that it doesn't say anything about customer service, or will my employment documents from Nigeria be enough to prove my experience, please educate me. Thank you |
Jbonito, I graduated from Ife, I know only the university runs that crazy course. There is diploma in nursing too and I don't think your D7 in biology can be a disadvantage. Thank you boss.. Crazy course indeed.. I was never aware there is diploma in Nursing.. I will try to find out more about it then and if you have any institution that offers it too, please do share sir... Any other info or advises will be deeply appreciated. Thank you so very much. |

Thank God for this thread. I intend to apply for the PR but my undergraduate degree is not on the SOL but it's on the CSOL. I studied urban planning from a federal University and I also possess an MBA. The two states that sponsor my degree is Tasmania and Western Territory and I would have to secure a job there before I can be Nominated under Sub class 190. I intend to try the Land Economist route which is under Sub clas 189. But my fear is if Vetassess would give Urban Planning a positive assessment under Land economy. Any help please |

Hello all sorry am back again lol. If I apply to EA with my Nigerian obtained M.Eng and B.Eng will I be accessed on my M.eng and B.eng or with just my B.eng ? And will I be able to use my M.Eng research for my CPD assuming I am accesed based on my M.eng. Am asking because i believe CPD has to be written based on the developmental steps taken in the profession after obtaining the degree. |

Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Nobody: 9:56am On Aug 14, 2016 |
BKings: Bro, Sorry for the delayed response. The aim of the CPD is to really see how much efforts you have put into developing yourself since you finished your Bachelors Degree and to ensure you have been in the same line with your chosen or nominated field... I usually advice people to Tabulate a Summary of their CPD and it should include Title/Description/Date/Duration/Venue... 1. List out your Post Graduate Studies or Any type of seminars or conferences that is relevant to your nominated skills 2. List out verified articles or journals you have personally studied as well. 3. you can also list the HSE 4. Also add any undergraduate technical seminar you did 5. I'll advice you list them in a chronological order starting from the most recent NOTE: You are not expected to submit proof of anything you fill in your CPD (Except you're currently doing a masters program, you'll need to submit your enrolment letter and your most up-to-date transcripts of the M.Eng) Finally Addressing your current situation, I'll advice you to do a lot of research to get dates and information about past conferences and seminars that took place in Nigeria or at your undergraduate uni. Also search for journals online with texts related to your field. Organise them properly and fill up your CPD. My Personal advice is to get a minimum of 10 different CPD activities... Cheers bro 4 Likes

deleyi20:You are a wonderful person. Thanks for the helpful info. I appreciate. And please, is there any incidence suggestion that EA might soon request for work experience. I wont be doing my assessment soon for some reasons till like October or November. Any evidence suggesting EA can change it soon. Is it advisable? My reason is cos of readily availability of funds. I will have to pull some strings if its necessary i start it now. |

Finally I'm here. used my whole weekend to read the entire thread. Oga bellong, you are really wonderful. I'm not surprised you are part of great Ife. I also finished from Ife. I will like to ask, if someone is invited to apply for visa. Is it possible for the principal applicant to apply alone first and family members to apply later. I know its possible for everybody to get visas together and not go to Australia at d same time. Is it compulsory to apply for visa as a family when you are married. I'm thinking of applying for visa alone and for my wife and my son later. my wife can not go with me now. Thanks guys. |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong: 2:59pm On Aug 15, 2016 |
mctowel01: Policies change everytime, my soon doesn't mean it will be this year. When they observe that number of inexperienced folks are on the increase, they do something to correct it. @metrecube Don't complicate issues for yourself. It takes a very long time for family visa to be approved. Apply together now, she has 6months to travel or she can travel to activate the visa and return to Nigeria rather than suspending it and go through the agony of applying for family visa. 1 Like |

mctowel01: LoL @scary.....Yes it is. But I think he is very right. I have that feeling too. If they notice too many inexperienced people are flooding the system, they might change the policy. But I don't they will change it suddenly. They could give some months notice ahead. Cheers bro. |

WinningSun:yes ask your school to send your transcript to vetassess if they refuse to give it to u. And I'm sorry I have not reply all d questions about advantages of Advisory assessment. Yes it is faster and straightforward. In fact I think by following tru advisory service is technically our fast track. Thanks |
