Igboid: na today you know? Yoruba have nothing to do with your or the arewa people which is why we mind ourselves whenever we are outside our territory. na only Yeeboe go carry 2 left legs all the way from the erosion ravaged enclave to come claim 90% ownership of Lagos, then go up north to claim 70% ownership of abuja. How difficult can it be to mind your lane and space with some humility? 3 Likes |

shukuokukobambl: Lol! Keep deceiving yourself. Infrastructurally speaking, your mud house infested enclaves of Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti and Oyo are light years behind SE, despite your loot of the post indigenization windfall. Enugu was still picked as the first Nigerian city to make the resilience city challenge. We can do so much more, once we jettison the excess baggage that Arewa-Odua represents. https://www.nairaland.com/2576371/eastern-neighbourhoods-streets-made/30 https://www.nairaland.com/2031155/enugu-makes-history-joins-worlds |

shukuokukobambl: We minded our space when we left your cursed mud house infested enclaves of Arewa-Oduanistan to migrate to the East, only for you and your Arewa masters to com's knocking on our doors shouting " one Nigeria". You can't have your cake and eat. Even after Nigeria, some Igbos will still be in Arewa oduanistan, just as Odua people are all over UK, even though Nigeria resisted occupation by Britain, and some Jews are still in Germany today, despite Hitler holocaust. |

You're the true definition of unwanted baggage and every sane human is always happy to get rid of you. Just ask the Indonesians, Malaysians and South Africans 1 Like |

Igboid: The idea is control your space, develop it, dominate it with army and police and banks. Dont leave your place in shambles while trying to or claiming to dominate other places! That is kind of parasitic as someone said. Of the three main groups, the Igbo land is most backward. 1 Like |

lawani: Yorubaland we all know is a backward primitive enclave, so it's funny hearing you lots speak rubbish. It's parasitism on Arewa-Oduanistans like you forcing Union with Ndiigbo, infact, it's demonic. Igboland is more developed than Yoruba bushlands: https://www.nairaland.com/2031155/enugu-makes-history-joins-worlds https://www.nairaland.com/2576371/eastern-neighbourhoods-streets-made/30 |

yomexp: Lol! Even after 5 pages, Yoruboids are yet to itemize their contribution to the colonial entity. I know it must be frustrating learning that you are useless this way. Don't worry, there will always be an Igbo around here to remind you of your uselessness. Meanwhile, seeing as you have failed to itemize your contributions here, maybe we can return back to the original thread created for this here: https://www.nairaland.com/3327779/what-southwest-contribution-fg-account/6 |

Igboid: You still haven't told me what you Asian firing squad candidates are doing trooping enmasse to the same SW! Even after your ezendigbo akure was flogged in public, you ugu hawkers are still arriving by the busloads to akure. Infact while traveling sagamu-ore expressway last week, i saw one Yeeboe plantain chips hawker fighting with one Yeeboe trailer conductor over N50 change. I told myself that these 2 clowns would have told some mofos like igboid that they too own mansions in banana island o 1 Like |

yomexp: No, in simple English, even though this thread was dedicated to showing Yoruba contribution to Nigeria, after 5 pages, you are yet to show the world any of those phantom contributions. Which leads us to the conclusion that Yorubaland of a truth has nothing to contribute. 1 Like |

shukuokukobambl: Lol! Funny you are even collaborating my take on your barbaric ways with that Akure incidence. Where your coward useless Oba invited an Igbo community leader for dialogue, only to unleash Yoruboid touts and almajiris on him. Funny enough, my barber here in Enugu is a Yoruba guy, Ade by name, he is a nice man and speaks fluent Igbo language, he told me he and his family grew up in Onitsha. There are many Yorubas in Igboland, but the Igbo society is a capitalism driven one and not a socialism type, people here are more interested in what you have to offer than on where you are from, so you hardly hear about Yoruba communities in Igboland, even though they exist and have community leaders, that no Igbo monarch care about their existence. Igboid: How do you discipline thieves, miscreants and unruly people in your plagued enclave? we treated the unruly and uncultured man the same way Funny enough, my barber here in Enugu is a Yoruba guy, Ade by name, he is a nice man and speaks fluent Igbo language, he told me he and his family grew up in Onitsha.t Of course omoluabis are always nice, respectful and sensible so i'm not surprised by Ade's demeanor. They respect their hosts unlike you that act like untrained and uncultured human beings anywhere you find yourself. We are the only region where you met your properties intact when you ran out of your poverty stricken enclaves again after the war. In fact we made sure you got back even the rents that accrued in your absence. what other proof does any sane and unbiased human need to confirm that the Yoruba believe in fairness? Nothing is wrong in hawking . It's a lawful means of making a living. We are proud of them all and pray that Chukwu bless their hustle. Of course nothing is wrong with hawking but there is everything wrong with a poverty stricken hawker coming online to brag about how he controls the economy of Lekki and Ikoyi It's the highest display of delusion of grandeur and it's a symptom of demonic possesion 3 Likes |

SuperS1Panther:I really pity the old man.Anytime I am on NL,he is always there twisting facts Before Nigeria,Yorubas were greater than Igbos. Before and after colonialism,,Yorubas were greater than Igbos. This 2016,Yorubas are still greater than them leading in education, less poverty, highest middle class,business,infrastructures-all the infrastructures in Igboland should be thrown into OYO STATE only and one would be amazed that all they boast of having are not more than 4 GRAs in Ibadan. The only thing they dominate is trading which is been overtaken by ICT controlled by Yorubas. |
Re: The South-West contributions to Nigeria's economy and other myth-busting facts by SuperS1Panther: 3:43pm On Sep 13, 2016 |
Ofemannnu: We are not in the same category as they are. We taught them how to spell their names. The people that could not evolve politically and in terms of infrastructure to build a worthwhile political structure and town are now the ones claiming they developed someone's cities. If someone promise to buy damask for you, check what he is wearing first. In their case, they are wearing torn singlets around and in their warped mind, they are buying damask for others. I have never met such an accidental group of people before in my life. 2 Likes |
