In Nigeria. The black market rate is actually higher when you're on ground than what the newspapers/abokifx indicates

I applied online on Saturday. Sept 3.
Had interview on sept 6.
Application relieved sept 8
Decision mail sept 12
Good news sept loading
(Btw even tho I've had a visitor visa refusal in the past. I still went ahead and paid for priority service but I wrote a cover letter explaining why to the ECO along with my application)

Baba Justwise is right. I once argued it but I later confirmed it's actually from the application date. It's also boldly stated on the first email from the UKVI after receiving your application. My apologies justwise.

When I didnt get a decision mail after 15working dayz from my application date, I emailed them..nd d decision mail came in exactly 15working datz after my interview.

Of cos one would def be working. Well i feel one way ticket raising of eyebrow cud be a prob for first timers going to the Uk abi Justwise. And not for subsequent travellers. And i think one gotta pay some more money for extension of flights to a more suitable date . Anyway never extended flights before. And justwise what if ones Masters program is 21months thats approximately 2yrs plus d extra 4mnths Added to the visa, i.e extended Msc program and not the normal 1yr program would u still advice u do return ticket?@soulhighman are u in the uk already? That attachment made it clear that actual processing time vary and that they process 90% within that 15 working days. The count of that 3weeks starts from the date of applied and paid for the application.


If yours takes longer it doesn't mean that they start counting from the day of the interview.

You should get your visa by thursday. I also had a visitor's visa refusal but went ahead with the priority service and I got my visa in 7 working days. Good news you shall receive.

I did my biometrics and interview at Ikeja VAC on 23rd August 2016 and my application was submitted that same day. I received a mail on 26th August that the application has been transferred to the UKVI. On 31st August, I received another mail that the application has been received at Sheffield. My 15-day period lapsed on 12th September. When I didn't get any decision mail from them, I contacted the UKVI International enquiry dept. They sent me a mail wherein they maintained that the application has been processed and that a decision has been made. I am yet to receive my decision mail even at the time of writing this.

Is there any one in this category, pls?

Is it possible that UKVI may have transferred my documents and visa back to TLS without giving consideration to sending a decision mail in the circumstance?
