That's the match I won't miss for anything. But I think Pep will win, his tactical nous will triumph at the end. He's very detailed when instructing his players.

I hope we're not meeting Liverpool soon? City own go be like child play. They have about 5 goal scorers in that team

This Liverpool team will definitely put up a title challenge this season. Their main strength is the whole team can actually run. Our team is so sluggish it's painful. I'm still upset about us not signing Mane who would have been perfect for us.

People making conclusions at this stage of this season are just funny. As at this stage last season people had already decided city had won the league.

We're not going to know who is who until after the boxing day fixtures. Everybody just dey do initial gra gra now.

The funny thing is Chelsea has better team than Liverpool if Conte could only utilise them well although Pool has the right balance.

First and foremost, Kante is no holding midfielder unlike Henderson who has quickly acclimatised to that role. More so, Kante is the only bridge between the defence and the attack because all the other midfielders Conte keeps parading are just useless. Their fullbacks are also useless going forward. Hence, the poor attack because the attackers aint seeing enough of the ball at the right place to make impact.

Another is Conte has reverted back to a 4231 system even when he knows the 4141 system suit the likes of Hazard the most and that useless Oscar if Conte must play him..

If I were Conte, Luiz would be my holding midfielder, Kante as the box-box CM and Fabregas as the attacking midfielder. This would have given them the right balance and could have countered Liverpool midfield of holding CM (Henderson), Playmaker (Lallana) and box-box (Widjanum).

It's so annoying that Chelsea has a better squad than us, save for their defence yet their coach can't utilise them well enough.

Who gives an undisciplined Luiz that role? Those kind of players, same with Jones, are used to man-mark a player or to serve as destroyers. Let's leave all this hindsight. Chelsea was very good in the 2nd half with same players used for the 1st so it's either Liverpool got tired or Chelsea upped their game.

Since almost all are pacy, Liverpool has their speed and high pressing working for them. The issue is if they'll keep it up the whole season cos it will cause them injuries and fatigue.

The league is a marathon.

Luiz was fantastic in that role under Benitez. In fact, he looked class with his vision, passing range and pace. He was able to foray forward like he loves to do. He also looked good playing that same role under Mourinho.

No doubt, he's ill disciplined at times because he loves to join the attacks but then, that makes him suitable for the midfield. It's not like he's an horrible defender to begin with. He's a decent solid defender with few lapses here or there due to his tendency to commit forward but as a midfielder, he's often class in that role.

I would also say pace isn't all that is to Liverpool midfield right now. They have the right amount of skills and creativity in Henderson, Lallana and Widjanum apart from their pace of course. They don't have Europa nor CL commitment to affect them and the only one who's injury prone in that midfield is Henderson and there's always Emre Can to replace him even though he's injured right now.

On another note, I've always wondered why Liverpool and England coaches kept deploying Lallana on the wing because his best performance for Southampton was in the midfield.

Lallana's close control, spatial awareness, intelligent passing and movement makes him perfect for that playmaking role and it was his excellent performance in that role for Southampton that brought him to Liverpool in the first place, so why change his position? It's not like he has the pace nor the spectacular vision to operate on the wing in the first place.

Lastly, I think Klopp tried something out with his players and stumbled on that perfect midfield trio. He first tried Countiho who is similar to Pogba in the midfield, that is, makes selfish dribbling, takes ridiculous shots and has poor awareness. Klopp had no option than to drop him from the playmaking role and tried out Lallana. This has turned out to be a master stroke for him.

Another element is the injury to Can, which culminated in Henderson transition into an holding midfielder and I would even say that he looked better than Emre Can in that role. And there's Widjanum who was signed this season. His raw pace, off the ball movement, strength, surging runs and noses for goals makes him perfect for the box-box role than Milner.

All these doesn't mean they are all worldclass in their roles but they are good enough and has the right balance to cause havoc against any opposition team.

Liverpool also has good attacks in Sturridge, Firmino, Mane, Origi, Coutinho and ings to be enough danger. Their only weakness is their defence but I think the likes of Lovren, Clyne, Matip, even the makeshift Milner are looking decent at the back.

LOL. Finally, someone that confirms my fears.

The first time I saw Dadehmola/AdisaOwala's post, I thought to myself, 'this dude's post bears an uncanny semblance to that of Cøogar'. After a week, that notion was permanently engraved in my heart. Then after Cøogar battled someone on the Battle Rap section with Dadehmola supporting him (Cøogar actually won the match though), I wanted to ask him if he's Cøogar, but stopped few seconds before asking him that. I only stopped thinking he's Cøogar's alt account after he attacked Cöogar during the Cöogar-Babe3 saga. But I still have my reservations that Dadehmola bears many traits of Coõgar way of dissing and writing.

I've seen enough of Coõgar's disses to know when one is writing like him. E.g:

- you're not the sharpest tool in the box
- kerosene background
- when the creator was sharing imtelligence/commonsense you're back of the queue. . . And missed out (something like that)
- may it never be well with your blah blah blah. . .

Also Coogąr always dissed people about their village paying for their school fees/educational upbringing. grin grin

I strongly feel AdisaOwala is either Coogąr's alt or takes enough of his style when dissing. AdisaOwala, you be Coøgar? You both sound too familiar not to be one. grin

BTW, Nihilist, Looserfool dey rąpe una without condom. LMFAO!! grin grin but to be fair, they will win us too. I don't see us winning them with the snail-esque display we put up yesterday. My money is on Looserfool or City to win the league.

AdisaOwala is not Coogar. I don't think their writing style are alike as such.

AdisaOwala has actually evolved. When I first came here, he had the name 'dademola which he later changed to dadehmola. Now he bears AdisaOwala.

He has since improved his writing skills to a great degree, between when I first came here and now. I actually began to see an improvement from around late 2014. He must have put in some effort behind the scene which paid off.

There are many good writers here though. Some of the best writers are no longer regular here.

He did some jobs there temporary but we know there has been some changes; the defence is more aged and worse, midfield players like Lampard are absent. You don't just bring in a player and pair with others. Their attributes should be in such a way to compensate for each other's weakness and complement each other, which is analysed and tried in training or pitch. Not forgetting he just joined the club. It is more than on-paper analysis.

In addition, Luiz surging forward would have left space in front of the defence to be exploited. With the absence of Terry, he's to replace unless you want to try Alonso in defence on his debut in such a game.
Conte used the right players and tactics. His players refused to turn up until 2nd half. My only blame for him is maybe the sub was too late.

On Liverpool, most of them are average; their energy, pace, team work and quick closing down of opponents cover their defensive weaknesses in both midfield and defence. A top CB, midfielder and CF still needed.
