What's the difference between ipob and Isis if you force 'the very people you claim to wanna liberate". To conform to your dictates?

Simple : those who wanna sit @home should sit. Those who don't should freely be allowed to do biz.

If you force people over ordinary "sit @ home" order how can you now ask for FG for independence referendum? Automatically it means the ref will be heavily plagued by violence and rigging thus will not be credible.

Also a voluntary sit-down by majority igbos and shut down of economic operations will prove to the world that indeed a majority wanna leave naija maybe even prompt world leaders to arrange for deportation of all igbos in North, SS, MW and SW from naija to SE(biafra) or SS territories that wanna be part of biafra.

I used to think a vast majority of catalans wanna leave Spain until a gallup poll was done.
This is the most enlighten and intelligent contribution i have seen in this forum. Myself is Igbo man and i think you can not force people to sit at home.
It should be optional, if you so much believe in Biafra state, you can abide by the order, but if not, you go out for your business.
Igbos are known to be independent minded (republican by nature), IPOB should not turn this struggle to be by force

On Friday, I will sit at home with my family.
I will do this even if I am alone.

When posterity asks me, what did you do when the sons of Usman Dan Fodio masquerading as herdsmen were invading your lands, killing your men, raping your women and burning your houses,
I will boldly say, I had a sit at home protests. At least , its better than carrying arms.

but time is coming when arms might be inevitable.

Yes, to u descendants of fallen angel, sent down with all his evils in a calabash, killings and destructions of lives and properties are civil and ideal way to express one's grievances while demonstrations are already demonic to u just because of ur selfish interests.

What i have faith in is, the struggle can never be wiped away from the minds of Biafrans just with mere use of force. One day the momentum will succeed.

You are not making sense so stop this I'm Igbo tantrum because nobody cares where you are from & for all we know, you might as well be an imposter! Revolutions from time immemorial requires sacrifice. We in the East can afford to sacrifice a day even if it means to starve a little so we can be in solidarity with someone who sacrificed his freedom & enjoyment for our collective good & also to help project our demand for independence or justice through resource control. The Bishops had atleast One week notice to plan this their meeting not to fall within this one day stay at home order.

Not in support of forcing them to stay at home, but clearly, they could have planned better to avoid this uneasy situation.

Ok, i see u are truely Igbo. Now, do u prefer we continue to suffer and die and see no reason to agitate just to have peace ? Can't u see the conpiracy in this nation Nigeria ? Why are leaders from other tribes afraid of settling things with us through discussion ? We have been sacrificing since the wat ended, why are they afraid of making a little sacrifice to adjust their position with us in this nation if we demand so ?

Nobody forced anybody to join but cordination is needed to achieve a result as there are enemies within. It is not all ablout feeding or what u will gain, sacrifices are needed in certain stages of life. Just a day sit at home for our collective interest won't send one to his grave. Moreover, not like it was suddenly announced, it has been announced at least three weeks b4 time to get us all prepared.

Just the way it affected these Bishops, we pray it affeccts other activities so that its discussion and way forward will commence soon.

I am not trying to make u see reason to join the agitation regards to u not being an enemy but i need u to see that there are things keeping us all ( all tribes ) down just because of hate. Policies that would move us forward will be held back just because it is seen it will favour some people hated. They in power see it that such policy is better not carried out than have it empower some certain people.

Nobody from our side hates anybody. We all know what we lose or gain in Nigeria. There is no way majority of our people would have such intent on Biafra if it is not in our interest.

Mind you, i'v said all without talking about religious games underground too.
broda pls wht did u mean mean by to continue to suffer and die witout n gains?pls i wnt u to demistify dis point becos i dnt knw of any mojority tribe suffring in nigeria

this dude is just too stupid for my liking, talks like a saboteur, how will a one day shutting of the region make pple handicapped and unable to feed?

They should advise people to stay at home, not force them to. Nobody has the right/authority to deprive another from going about their legitimate business.

They are advising people to stay at home. No one is being forced to do anything against their will. The bishops are only lamenting over the inconvenience of the whole thing, that's all. I'm sure that you'll get a few people here and there going about their usual business in the East. You don't really believe that every single person in the South-East, Igbo or non-Igbo, will be forced to stay indoors, do you?

Please do not join in false rumour. I understand that the stay at home protest is billed for tomorrow 23/09/2016 so, how can you say they are harassing anybody already? The Bishops decided to call of their meetings, not that IPOB asked them not to meet. From experience, the security forces might begin their unwarranted confrontation and arrests which could lead to violence. I don't blame the Bishops for calling off their meeting. Wait until tomorrow before you can say whether people are harassed or stopped from moving about by force.

Remember that the last time such orders were given, it was obeyed even in Lagos. Who forced those in Lagos ? It is not by force. Please post facts !
