Blind lacks the pace against fast wingers.

You're telling that to Mourinho who constantly used Ivanovic as his RB?

Against Hull, it was bcoz Hull sat back in d 2nd half.
Against Leicester, its bcoz Drinkwater, Fuchs, blah blah blah were sluggish in d first half.
I dey wait for their excuse when we beat Chelsea and Arsenal. Maybe dem go talk say it was Bcoz Kante was tired and Xhaka's girlfriend just dumped him.

who gave excuses, liecester lost to hull, were raped 4 1 by liverpool, got beaten 4 2 by chelsea so united winning 4 1 isn't a big deal.
Yes. Leicester lost to those teams. But we didn't hear excuses of "waiting for Chelsea, Liverpool etc to play real teams". But United beat Leicester, and we don dey hear stories that touch.

I go like hear ur excuses when we beat these so called "real teams".

Weedtaker, come out of hiding. What did you say about Swansea beating City?
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sinizia: 4:45pm On Sep 24, 2016
Diademk07:

Herrera was solid against a sluggish Drinkwater, Amarte and a lethargic Slimali in the midfield in the 1st half. If they had Okazaki/Gray/Schlup in the first half, it would have been different because these players hardly slack in their pressing game.

And no, it wasn't just once but multiple times, He and that Schlup of a guy were waltzing through our midfield after they came on. Even Amarte with his improved pressing gave us a good run in the midfield in the second half.

How were you you able to type this excuse and with all boldness submit it for people to read? Should I remind you that Schlupp, Gray and Okazaki you're trying to make supermen were all in the game when Shekpe came from behind to butt r@pe Leceister 4-2? Why didn't they save Leceister? So they "didn't slack in their pressing game (according to you)" and yet Shekpe destroyed them? You're very biased. Your excuses are as useless as the letter P in Psychology.

When teams score United - United's midfield is sluggish and useless.

But when United destroys opponents - United is lucky that their opponents' midfield was bad.

Nice inconsequential analogy.

Kagawa10, away with your hatred for Herrera. There is nothing wrong with his performance. Gray was only good in that second-half coz the ENTIRE United team took their feet off the pedal not coz of your imaginary second-half pressing of Leceister. I was angry at that Leceister goal but I didn't blame anybody coz only Barca and Bayern can keep up with pressing of a team without relenting for the entire match. United are team in progress, with time we'll master that tactic. So the entire team taking their feetboff the pedal was the reason Leceister didn't conceded more. It had nothing to do with "improved Amarte/Leceister pressing in the second-half".

There are few teams on this planet that without luck, can come out unscathed and unbruised after the relentless wave of attacks and pressing we dished out to Leceister. Even if the entire Leceister team were made up of Gray and your laughable Schlupp, United would have r@ped them easily. United were heads and shoulders above them and your Gray is very average, there's nothing he'd have done that he hasn't done before.

I'm done with this argument.

WE WERE IN CONTROL
“It was a very good performance. It’s much more difficult to win in such a comfortable way like we did. We felt their fragility after the second goal and we went for more and played really well. Obviously in the second half nobody was expecting to score four more goals and win 8-0 and it was all about control."

A POSITIVE START
“I think we started well for the first time I can say. Normally our second-half performances are better than the first. I don’t know why as we prepare in the same way with the same professionalism. Today we had intensity, we had good movement, we were dynamic and we were strong defensively against a team that, I repeat, are easy to analyse but hard to cope with. To be back home and beat the champions is good. Last season we couldn’t beat them and this season we’ve already beaten them twice."

THE DISPLAY A TEMPLATE FOR WHAT YOU WANT?
"I can say yes. We were much more aggressive and pressed higher. The team was quicker to react when the ball was lost and we were very objective, we had lots of fast football. We played the way we wanted to play and played really well. The preparation for the games is always good. Then the game is the game and there are many things not in your control, that's why football is so beautiful and so loved. But the reality is we played very well until the game was closed.

TEAM PERFORMANCE OR WERE INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS PIVOTAL?
“I think the team played very well. You score four goals but your striker doesn't score a goal and yet I think the striker played phenomenal. I think [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic played fantastic in the way he was the start of our attacks. [Juan] Mata thinks football very fast and [Jesse] Lingard and [Marcus] Rashford gave a great intensity for the team, but I prefer to say that my team as a team played well."

ROONEY STILL A BIG PLAYER FOR US
“He's a big player for me, a big player for United and a big player for this country. I don’t want to say anything else. He’s my man, I trust him completely and he's as happy as I am at the moment. His team won and that’s normal, he’s happy."

MUST KEEP WINNING
“We lost six points in the Premier League but the reality is that we are not drawing, we are winning. The situation of dropping points but not drawing games is basically the same. We have 12 points but today was about the result, the performance and the happiness of the fans. On Thursday we have a very important match in the Europa League and to be back here after such a good result for us is good."

This van Der Hoorn of Swansea is a bąstard. Idíot. City was on level with them and Swansea would have taken a point off them only for the aforementioned møron to elbow KDB that's of no threat whatsoever in the 18-yard box which resulted in a penalty. Useless imbecîle. Mtcheew.

City looked weak today. Swansea would have won them if not for v.d Hoorn's stupidity. Barca will easily punish City when they meet. City are no match for Barca. It'll be a one-sided azz rąpe.
