That said, anyone could see that Hazard's best form started from late dec 2014 to april 2015. That was roughly the same time Barca fans were mocking Chelsea on their acquisition of Fabregas who tends to go off form every winter. Matic became poor as well during that time.

I would rather a Chelsea fan challenge me on this though and tell me if Hazard wasn't head and shoulder above his team mates in the second half of 14/15 season or if the likes of Fabregas and Matic didn't turn out poor during winter.

This is not true. Mata has mostly played below average in the number 10. There are times he looks to fly there, but when given a run there, he soon disappears in games, particularly against the power playing teams and big teams.

Apart from his first match for us, yesterday was when Pogba played close to his DM which meant the AM didn't have to worry too much about defence. We will have to see many more matches to get to know how things work out.
