Chrisrare:Forgive me sir, but ignorance will not be an excuse when the Judgment of the Almighty begins. FYI, the bible will never support any form of unrighteousness. Rape, Slavery and Children killing like you said is never supported by my God and in His word. May God be merciful unto you and grant you the understanding of His word. |

In the end, for every mockery of the Gospel, God will judge men. It's good you know what you are posting before doing that. |

MrPresident1: Thank God for your life. But why deny the fact that the bible is first a real time event that happens to some people? Solomon in that passage was talking about his love life, are you saying Christians should not romance? Please, always allow the bible to speak for itself first before you start twisting it to sooth your personal convictions. Note that whatever revelation or interpretation you give to the bible is personal and cannot be compare to the fact that the bible speaks to the generality of the world and not just you or so called theologians. #Allow bible to speak for itself! 2 Likes |

Its shocking to see people mock GOD and His words. One day, God will call fort Nairaland and others to spill its contents and YOUR OWN WORDS will either SPEAK FOR OR AGAINST YOU .Even if you dont believe these my words ONE DAY, SURELY YOU WILL BELIEVE. Finally, bros and sis from what i know and believe about Christians, they are commanded not to for Kill ,rob , enslave or rape for JESUS. Jesus IS ABLE. Shalom |

olanshile2016: One thing you should know is that the bible contains not only the statements of God but also of man, Satan etc. I hope you know what reported speach is all about, so if the Bible reports what king Solomon said about women breast, that does not make the Bible a bad book. 1 Like |

This is just to douse the misconception about the Book of Songs of Solomon. I will like everyone that cares to know that it is for lovers and not adulterers, true lovers and not those that indulge in profanities or perversion. When you spend time with an open heart to read the Songs of Solomon through in the Bible, It encourages you to love your true love (WIFE OR FIANCEE) and appreciate the wife of your youth. Love cannot be denied except by deceivers and those who have a form of religion that is made to subdue love and encourage dictatorial or oppressive life style. Even if at all a man marries more than one wife. There is only one that takes precedent in his heart; others are to satisfy human gratification. The part quoted are what we do to our wives in the privacy of our bedrooms appreciating the beauty of God in their lives. The Woman is swept off her feet by words and eulogia phrases of love increasing her love for her husband all the more. It not just about the money your words contribute too and the Bible has taken time to spell that out. Why? Repackage and Present it in a way that seems it must mean something else it means what it means and no apologies for that. Songs of Solomon does not encourage Immorality or Misuse of Love that is why it was clearly stated in Chapter 8:4. That: I charge you, O Daughters of Jerusalem that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, until he pleases. (KJV) Promise me, O women of Jerusalem, not to awaken love until the time is right. (NLT); and this was clearly repeated close to three times or more in the Book (Songs of Solomon: Chapter 2:7; Chapter 3:5; Chapter 8:4) which is emphases. Mind you. Christianity is not a LAW. It is a WAY OF LIFE if you Read Acts 11:1-25. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch. Just because of their life style, belief and preaching. The Bible is PERFECT and I AM PROUD to IDENTIFY with IT including the Songs of Solomon. 1 Like |
Looooooooooooooooooooooooool! That's abso-freaking-lutely hilariously blasphemous! There are some other verses of such: "Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness." (Proverbs 30:30) "My lover thrust his hand through the latch-opening; my heart began to pound for him. I arose to open for my lover, and my hands dripped with myrrh, my fingers with flowing myrrh, on the handles of the lock." (Songs of Solomon 5:4-5) "Your navel is a rounded goblet that never lacks blended wine. Your waist is a mound of wheat encircled by lilies. Your breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle." (Songs of Solomon 7:2-3) "I sat down in his shade with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste." ( Songs of Solomon 2:3 ) "There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses." Ezekiel 23:20 NIV "Get thee behind me, Satan." (Matthew 16:23) hilarious |

Nigerians and inane sentiments!!!! He made a post, and tagged it his 'favourite passage' (or am i missing something) and some people have the nerve to say he is mocking God. Blind and baseless comments! Since when did quoting a verse which infact exists become tantamount to mocking God..anyone who says this is mockery or blasphemy should in effect cease to quote any verse in the bible, since now quoting a verse in the bible is blasphemy....Jeez!!!! 1 Like 1 Share |

Malakh:Hmmm....I believe He's talking to His people- His Elect. The palm tree refers to the beauty and erect stature of the people even when other nations were falling, the boughs represent cleavage, God wants to cleave to His people. The breasts which are like 'clusters of dates' refer to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah who provided liquid/nourishment to suckle from.(It might also be interpreted as the two tablets or the King and High Priest). The clusters of vine are the students of the Torah. He wants to see if they have developed in the study...... I am not sure what you mean by the 'roof of your mouth' though.....This is what I found out after a little investigation. Over to you. |
