Wldnt it be a risk keeping the money with the college. To avoid story that touch it is better to open domicillary account and request the money transfer to your domicillary a/c. U can open one with minimum of $100.

USA Refusal in 2014 as per info sharing not listed in form but listed UK refusal. PA is 30 yrs of age, single, no dependent; humber college; certificate in marketing; very low personal income of approx. 815$/month as per bank statement; low personal funds; Based on the infor/docs provided, serious concerns with the purpose of intended travel to canada. Not satisfied that PA is not primarily seeking to gain access to canada. Application is therefore refused.

Already gathered Document.

All academic documents/ NYSC cert, Letter of employment, study leave authorization letter, company introduction letter, 6 months pay slips of almost 200k/month, 2 personal SOA 600k and 1.5m. Receipt of tuition payment of 11kCAD. My Land Deed of assignment/receipt of purchase/family receipt/ survey. birth certs of 3 siblings/ power of attorney from dad to manage his properties.

Documents from mom
Bank statement with closing balance of 7M+ , sponsorship letter, affidavit of sponsor, birth cert, family pictures, Landed documents

Documents from dad
confirmation letter of employment, offer of appointment, confirmation letter of retirement from service, pension ID card, power of attorney to me, rental receipts as other source of income asides pension, sponsorship letter, affidavit of sponsor, birth cert.

AM I GOOD TO GO

Depending on your course you will first be asked to pay a certain amount to reserve a seat for your program before a particular date and then the then the remaining balance before another date

For instance I was asked to pay $1500 before 10th of october, that amount was deduced from my balance of $7275 and the remaining balance must be paid by 11th of November.

If what I said angered you, I am sorry but you need to realize that the world now when they hear Nigeria what comes to mind is corruption, scammers, terrorist, drug pushers etc and that is why good people on this thread are trying to help one another appear convincing enough to the VOs cause even the VOs also have that impression about Nigerians making those who are innocent suffer.

Whether we like it or not as Nigerians immigration officers or whoever from other country already have a certain perception about Nigerians.

After some events of this year the people all around the world are beginning to see certain people as potential terrorist or agents and you won't blame them.

I am not stereotyping anyone I am just trying to paint the thoughts of some people at this time. To the bolded of your GCMS NOTE, this is just a silly excuse since the VO couldn't see what to lay hands to refuse you..as you have increased your bank statement which totaled 2.1m is ok and as you have put assets too,it is okay.if you are being refused again which i don't pray for,Just know that the VO doesn't want to give you the visa cos of the PGD program and try another country where ur cgpa can get you masters..

I think my case is quite different here, I ve being an active reader of this trend for a very long time (yrs) and I av perused through all the pages, and I will say a big thumb up to all of you both home n abroad helping people here.

I need help too!!!

My case goes thus;

My dad is the sponsor, and he is sponsoring 6 of us out of which 3 of my brothers were dropped because of their age(they have passed the age of dependent child) remaining 3 of us. Out of the 3 of us that's remaining, I am the eldest, but about 3 months ago, i got a mail from accra requesting the Passports n photos of two of us (myself and my younger brother) but I didnt get passport request for my youngest bro (age 17yrs), but when I sent the passports and photos, I sent for the 3 of us(including my youngest bro' s passport dt i didnt get his own passport request). Now just about 2 weeks ago I got a mail stating d readiness of our document and dt i should make arrangement for pick up which i authorized dhl to do so on our behalf. But when i wrote the authorization letter(authorization letter is the letter that dhl will show them at accra embassy dt I indeed sent them to pick up my trvs), I included the names of 3 of us, uci n application numbers in the letter. But just 2days ago when DHL came back to deliver our parcel, they brought just only one trv docs, which is my own, I didn't get the passports and documents for my younger and youngest bros

Now my questions:

-What can I do to get the remaining 2 passports n documents

-must the authority letter be signed by each of us and sent separately(i sent only one which i included all our names uci n app no.)

- should I mail the emmbassy at accra and wait for their reply or i should just send DHL again this time with separate authority letters signed by the 2 of them?

N.B: I AM THE ONLY ONE ACCRA EMBASSY COMMUNICATE WITH AMONG US.

Send a scanned copy of your Bsc certificate, you also have to send a hard copy of both English proficiency letter and transcript if you haven't done so Sir

Physical visit to manitoba geography department, hmmm d way i kno d system here most of them dont accept referal or physcical documents on behalf of sumone, they mostly ask you tell the person to mail them personally, advisor student rlshp is based on long time built rapour, but wat exactly do you want to find out

I would strongly suggest if they dont reply mails call them, leave voice mails or rephrase your mail to get them intrested to make them reply. But to the best of my knowledge geography nd env grad secretary alwys replies inquiries, the supervisor are nice too so kip trying, be sure you are mailing an advisor with same research intrest if not they might not respond

Take a bigger step to put a call through, i dont tink anybody can talk to an advisor on your behalf, they dont evn do hardcopy document review in grad admission evrytn by email evn if its for you.

Did you pay using form A? If you did then the school will refund the money to the account the money came from?

If you bank debited your naira account for the purchased dollars from CBN then you are getting the same amount you paid in Naira then . Who gets the dollars? You bank.

What calibre of people work as visa officers for Canadian embassies? Is anyone too old to acquire knowledge.? The kind of reasons they conjure to deny college applicants dey silly.

@almeida3 confirmation of result means u have to get ur result certified from ur school and get a letter from ur registrar stating that the mode of instructions in ur school is English. what are u applying for because am also a prospective Mun.
