Good Day my good people.
I have been following this thread since 2014, Am not new here, and few people may know me.
Its very painful for all denials, may God grant the refused applicants their heart desire.
I got few solutions to the refused applicants, please listen attentively to the following instructions.
1. Age of 16 to 20 should only apply to college, or university.
2. Age 16 to 23 to university. (dont near college if above age of 23)
3.Avoid diploma, certificate programs if you are above 23.
FINANCIAL ISSUES
4. Masters applicants must show prove of fund readily available for studies. i.e. money specially kept in your account (Study Grant, Academic Grant) etc, for feeding, tuition, transportation and books,
5. Sponsorship account alone is not sufficient as prove of fund,
6. Show evidence of employment in home country and evidence of income.
7. write a very strong SOP and explain each academic gaps.
Canadian immigration do not stop issuance of study permit, they only changed their policy over review of student visa for Nigerian applicants due to some reasons. (student claiming asylum upon arrival, recession in Nigeria etc)
For applicant with third class, Hnd, or second class lower with age 16 to 20 can still apply for diploma, graduate diploma and certificate diploma.
If you are above the listed age, and you apply, your chance is very slim and hopefully the success rate is 1 out of 5 applicant.
You can contribute more to this.
Good luck.
well said,thumbs up

Once they get their TRV and you didn't get,you are no longer on thesame page with them, even during application for TRV they would give you countless chats, mails, questions, help review and calls.but once they get the TRV and enter that country.little assistance to help pay application fee to refund the individual on agreeable rate becomes a problem.Helping with GCMS note application which you aint doing free for me becomes a hard decision and many more but not to mention."indirectly you are telling me all man for himself". you ll come to think of within you "i thought we were good mates on chat and helping each other for this major goal". Sincerely if you interest is SOLELY to utilize me don't PM ME.i hate selfishness..i am not being egoistic but wiser

Hmmm. I think I understand you perfectly boss. All man for himself. All I can say is that we all should strive hard and cross the hurdles. The little assistant you can provide for people, do not relent as you don't really know who might pay you back when you never expected it. Yeah, people are willing to help in other threads. Buh I might say its based on individual. We ain't the same, hence do not expect people to treat you back the way you treat them. You can only expect slight so you won't be dissapointed when what you expect doesn't come around.
The best way I think is free your mind, do the li2 you can do to help others if its in your capacity. Hence, when the time comes you look back and give thanks to God for making you cross the hurdles.

That's human being bro. We are dynamic. We never know our true nature until when we achieve something or when we are in power. That's just it. Some might even reply you after 10days and some will not even remember to respond.
Hence, we should just pray to God to pave way for us. That's the gospel truth.

I asked Fanshawe college to send the Money to my own very domiciliary account, they refused. See attached emails. My problem is...do they have the right to say where the refund goes to?
Well, you can authorize a 3rd party in Canada to receive the fund on your behalf. All you need is to write a letter of authorization, inform the school about it and hear what excuse (if any) they will give.

tplacid:

Depending on your course you will first be asked to pay a certain amount to reserve a seat for your program before a particular date and then the then the remaining balance before another date

For instance I was asked to pay $1500 before 10th of october, that amount was deduced from my balance of $7275 and the remaining balance must be paid by 11th of November.

I hope that helps

Thanks, are you telling me your whole tuition is 8775$? Now another question hope this installmental payment does not affect my visa application and does not increase my chances of rejection?

@Martineinstein,

I never had a clue on PGC/MSc Issue before I applied. Prior to my application for study permit, I have applied to a couple of schools for MSc,MBA and PGC.

My PGC offer came out before others so I applied considering the timing bit. As I had less than 4months to resumption. Three weeks after submitting my application, I was offered a spot for MBA at UNB.

So I transfered and informed Accra and they confirmed that application was updated. But I noticed that the MBA acceptance letter I scanned to Accra was not part of the paper application they returned. Apparently it wasn't includes in my file. I suspect thats was the cause of my refusal. Very painful but moved on already. Got a new MBA offer reflecting my deferral, I will represent.

martineinstein:
the thing is: ur documents were almost perfect, but the VO was able to detect some flaws in ur documentatons.

There is a major clampdown on PG applicants as VO sees dat PG is the easiest and cheapest way nigerians can absond.is ur current job related to d post graduate program u are applying for? Is d program also related to ur undergraduate course of study?

Secondly, how was ur account status when u applied for visa?i mean:did a huge amount of money jump in suddenly and u still claim u are self-sponsoring urself?.if yes, they must have realised dat u are trying to abscond and u were trying to convince them that ur account balance is as a result of ur employment.with the sudden huge rise in ur account balance, they were convinved that ur current cant fund ur academics

@MichV classic naija behavior. That's life my bro, dem go disturb u taya. The thing is you aren't obliged to help or answer anyone and pls don't ever feel bad if you decide not to answer or help with questions or reviews. Afterall there are countless others youve helped qith answers and reviews previously. Because once trv land dem go bone u like bad habit or come on NL tell u how beautiful Canada is... Meanwhile my biometrics letter showed up last friday and I've finally done biometrics after 7 weeks+. Then there goes a fresh round of waiting for the decesion proper. Sometimes I think the wait time is intentional, do they receive more applications than the UK or US? I've been to the UK over 10 times in the last 5yrs, once to Bahamas and once to Dublin and CIC still ticked travel history as an issue... I don't think those ppl read the applications oooo.
I submitted a letter telling them to feel free to refuse any application for PR or Asylum from me. I only intend to study and leave. Abi wetin dem want make person do na, as dem dey Hurd their visa.

Hi guys, please I really need your advise on these issues

1) my sponsor is not a family member
2) I've been unemployed for a year without any income but I've been under going a fashion designing course with a certificate to prove it; hope these wont affect my chances of been approved.
3) which is more resonable; to do medicals before submitting my application or to wait for the immigration office to call for medicals.
4) is it reasonable yo submit my application through VAC or myself?

I will really appreciate responses . please

To my fellow comrades... If you are refused for a flimsy reason etcetera, please immediately pursue other options, don't waste time reapplying or be blinded with the secret intention of wanting to remain in Canada. The goal is the education you will receive you can move somewhere else after your study in Canada and live a good life with ur canny education. The process appears to be flawed. I've never experienced such a ridiculous wait time... Like they check ur application properly anyway. Even with ur MSC or any degree acquired abroad. You will live like a boss in naija even if u decide to come back home... My brother works with MTN just cuz e did his MBA Yankee now dude is earning over 700k monthly, we all know what that amount of money monthly can do to ur life here in naija.
