OP post the full story nah... Why the cut and join BREAKING: Nigeria’s secret police, SSS, releases detained judges The State Security Service has released all the judges arrested during a nationwide sweep between Friday and Saturday, PREMIUM TIMES can report. Sources in the agency said all the seven judges were released on self-recognition. “They were all released on bail yesterday(Sunday) on self recognition,” one of our sources said. “They reported this morning (Monday) and they have all gone back home. They will be coming back tomorrow. And everything went very procedurally well and civil. “They were released on bail on self recognition based on the fact that given their standing in the society, they cannot run away. They were instructed that they should come back today by 10am. “They did report for investigation this morning and they have gone back home. And the investigation continues and preparation to charge them to court.” The crackdown has continued to generate mixed reactions across the country. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/212476-breaking-nigerias-secret-police-sss-releases-detained-judges.html 9 Likes 1 Share |

. .. ... Am not surprised.... . This is a result of Obasanjo's visit to the aso Rock Now, am beginning to hate this Buhari for all this craziness How will you release those criminal? We Nigerians have been happy that these useless dog will be used as a slave goat. Now until Baba OBj came and the story turn around. Buhari you will fail if you continue to surround yourself with OBj. Truly you need him but you shouldn't listen to everything from him. Imagine if Tinubu has been acting the role of Obasanjo, I swear down, all this looter would have sit right and borrow themselves brain. NOW, the old system continue. Starting from today, I will never comment on any corruption post on Nairaland again. Nigeria will continue to practice the same style of government. We voted Buhari to change the system and surround himself with the likes of Tinubu, fashola, amechi but reverse is the case. He has decided to take advice from OBj and other retired Head of State. Am done with supporting this useless Anti-curroption war. 16 Likes |

Now they have released these judges. They have been traumatized and already sentenced and condemned before the actual judicial process takes place. The question is-will they continue to sit in there courts or take leave of absence pending the determination of there cases by the body authorized to do so?. 7 Likes |

They will still be charged to the regular courts headed by their colleagues in crime? The case of Gain Fawehinmi vs Supreme Court Justices comes to mind where he tried to 'prosecute' them for collecting car gifts from Babangida in order to obstruct the course of justice. FRA Williams (also late) was on the other side. Chief Gani was frustrated because he was fighting those bribe receiving Justices in their own court. The members of the more corrupt bar will soon issue a statement celebrating victory over their empty and corrupted threats and volunteer hundreds of SANs to defend their paddy paddy judges and justices. Judiciary is really the biggest headache for Buahari in his bid to clean the country of corrupt and evil men of timber and calibre. 19 Likes 1 Share |

Hmmm iI's either the executive arm of government is out to intimidate the judiciary or just incredibly stupeed. How can they use excessive force to arrest, intimidate, and prosecute them in the media without due process and think that when they take them to court they'll meet heavenly beings that would side with the government. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Media trial...hahaha. This issue has been settled behind closed doors. The support the judges got was too overwhelming for buhari to ignore. I bet they didn't envisage such enormous support. Well done to NBA, NJC and judiciary workers for saving the judiciary. Now the big question is... what happens to the images of these accused judges? All of you celebrating are just blind to what happens behind the scene in the corridors of power. Until you see amechi dine secretly with Wike you would understand. 15 Likes 1 Share |
