Thank you all so much for the advise on increased flow. Infact from no flow to small flow to now.
Rofemiguwa gave me fenugreek.... it made me see breast milk and i am so grateful.
Then for the increase in flow... i used 1. Ate iru twice.... 50naira worth first night n second night. Couldn't bring myself to eat it the next morning..... lol
2. I ate well, drink bucket of water n slept well... infact i fell sick and they said it was stress as am restless.... they said the headache i had was bp but it cleared after resting for two days...
3. I ate bitterleaf soup twice. Really ate the leaves.....
4. I stopped wearing bra and was practically naked.... MIL said to let the boobs breath.... that bra is used to wean babies....
I couldnt do palmwine.... hubby would have to go towards akudo to get... so far.

The moment i carry Zoey.. its starts pouring from both boobs.... like hian.
Its more when she is sucking one... the other will be staining bed ...
Zoey has not taken any other thing than breast for the past 48hours.... she latches but its painful except i remove n reposition... which causes annoyance. Lol
Then she would suck for long and close her eye u will think she has slept.. try removing breast and see that her gum is clinched tight to it...lol then the sucking will start again.
My sleep now is less than 2 hours o.... she sucks round d clock... once i put her down she stays calm for 10mins and wakes up looking for bobbi... hian.
But today seems different becos of what happened.

My girl has been poo-ing with every milk she swallows.
Like when she sucks and i bring her to burp... she will polute n shiit. So i became worried. Made formular this evening and gave her. Then pumped 90mil each from them boobies and threw away.
I am now worried.
Is she reacting to my milk?
I used to allow her suck daily before....the flow was established so we cant say its soured or is that it?
Why is she stooling?
I have vowed not to take tea n bread again as that has been my only meal for days now.... thats why i pumped n threw away... maybe the sugar content is much... please help me! advise me.

Mil said i should put "kamfura pelebe" in water n be giving her one spoon... i have been acting deaf... saying i dont know where to get it.

Stress and cervical insufficiency don't go well at all, even though some women are still able to go on with their normal activities with one on, some with modified activities, and with others no activity at all, but u never really know (it's better to err on the side of caution)
Cerclage according to studies has about 74% success rate in Nigeria, 85% in the US and up-to 90% in Saudi Arabia.
The most common cause of a failed cerclage is infection or uterine irritations (contractions after the procedure) usually within a few days, Or by PPROM after a few weeks or by loosening of stitches.
If it is still possible, you can shift your wedding date, or be on the strictest form of bedrest b4 that day and maybe talk to a few trusted people about it, including your pastor to be lightening speed brief about the ceremony, so u aren't too stressed, cos you can't be standing for at least more then 5 -10 mins nor dancing sef!

@mcseun, like jaysmama said, it's really a tough situation, dat doctor is not your friend at all, how can he advice you to still travel with a failing cerclage? No sugar coating this neither am I being a pessimist, 18mm is too short at 18 weeks .
Please stay back and be on very strict bedrest, I have read that sometimes a failing cerclage may be redone. If you had known you would have travelled and had the cerclage done wherever you were going to have your baby, I am guessing you knew about having it done before the pregnancy?
Now the question is which is more important to you, staying back on bedrest and losing some money or risking/gambling with ur baby ?

Yes. D-line.... If you need plenty pictures of ur baby In different position, I'll advice u go with a flash drive or empty Cd.

@iomoge2 don't worry about baby pooping anytime she feeds. it means that she is getting enough and digesting well. some ebf babies behave that way.my son poops like that since birth and he is very healthy.

if u are doing ebf, you only need to worry if her poop color is green. apart from that enjoy ur lactation.

Goodevening mamas and mamas to be... I'm glad I found this thread.. I have some questions please.... I got a cercelage due to incompetent cervix around 12weeks and around 18weeks I saw little blood stain.. was scared so I called my dr and was asked to go in for a scan.. To the Glory of God the baby is fine but cervical length is short I measuring 18mm was placed on some medicine and was told to rest.... my question now is when I did the cercelage my dr told me it is okay for me to travel cos I intend traveling to have the baby.. bought ticket and have done necessary arrangement. I want to know if anyone has gone through this and still traveled without any problem .. I believe God I will carry to Term in Jesus name.. sorry for the long write up.. thank you

It's better you stay back because the pressure in the plane is not always Ok wt our body.it's a long flight again. I decided to stay back after getting my cerclage here as much as I wish to travel then but d fear of last loss at 26wks couldn't let me do it. Our bodies react differently but to be on a safe side, it's better than taking d risk. I was on duphaston till 27wks (prevent preterm contraction) and I wil advice no sex due to ur measurement. A lot of bed rest should help.

No need to be scared. Everyone is different the best thing is to work with your doctor based on your specific situation. He will be able to advice and that way you can plan your wedding based on the advice he gives. I had lost two babies before my doctor adviced we do the cerclage and the bedrest as an added precaution. Some people go to work with a cerclage and have no problems

yes that is the poop color. no need to worry yourself.
and don't give both breast to her during each feed. offer one breast two times and then switch to other breast during the third feed.
it will help her get enough hind milk the most nutritious one. if u feel engorged express out a little.
