In fact stats like this and more show we probably are bus parkers. One of the slowest league runners, not topping the charts on total goals scored, one of the least productive front line of the top six...not forgetting how we quickly lock up shop once we've scored 2,3 or 4 goals and then start sleeping through halfs...Teams have scored 5, 6 this season because they don't relax and play defensively after scoring a few goals- Liverpool as a prime example. This is one philosophy that still points out mourinho's safe guard approach over Fergies incessant domination for 90 minutes win or loose and if that type of football is what we were playing, then i would have agreed that our high pass accuracy is really not a bus parking passing accuracy.

For me i am gradually tilting towards the argument that we are parking the bus and shamefully against hopeless teams like Burnley (I say this based on the substitutions Jose made in the match, slower Rooney and Fellaini for Mata and Lingard, not forgetting taking out Rashford who should have been made to go up top finding the goal like with hull city ) at Old Trafford. It only pains me that Mourinho only thinks throwing more money at mercenaries would solve the problem when it only breeds players playing for their instagram and not the badge. Haven't you heard we have the highest wage bill on the planet. A club like that should be challenging with the Barca's and Madrids not Fernabache and Feyernoord.

Having the highest Pass accuracy does not stop u from being a park the bus team. How many of those passes were in the opponents half?? How many were in d final 3rd??

One or two safe passes from Fellaini to Smalling in our half while seating back is nothing to be proud of.

Pass accuracy only measures what is done on the ball.

If a team makes only 1 succesful pass during the game, they will post 100% pass completion, despite perhaps only having 10% possesion.

am never going to tackle bus parking tactics,sometimes na necessary evil.

Nobody here has said the team is in good shape but e don turn crime now to talk about positives but no be crime to cry from morning till night about the negatives, we fight kagawa for not always seeing anything positive in Herrera but here we are doing the same with the team

Which Barca is not as lethal when compared with under Pep, Enrique won best Manager in Europe two seasons ago with Barca. Need I tell that's due to Barca's achievement? They won the league last season and currently sitting top of their group in the UCL. Compared with united {epic flop of a club for the past 3 seasons and counting,} sitting 3rd in ur group in EUROPA!!!!! , and currently 6th in the league.

Face value this would be right but not in reality. No team will have one pass per game just like no team under pressure from parking the bus will find the calmness making accurate passes in their box.

In perspective, United average possession is 55% (from 5,927 passes) which is 5th in the league.
17.4 shots/game which is 4th in the league (& 9th highest in all Europe)
5.6 shots on/game which is 6th in the league.
No team will average that parking the bus.

Last season United averaged nearly 68% (1st in the league) possession in the league with below 3 shots/game (18th in the league). If we observe it closely, that was the proper bus parking with effizy

Most of our next fixtures na games against teams wey dey around us dem gunners,spurs and everton.
Right now na only Liverpool dey out of reach and na solely based on schedule strength.
We never see Chelsea without Costa so hope still dey.
And as for bailey we get cover. blind-smalling is manageable.
