UAE is very tough now with some many strange case that is happening now ...especially Nigerians ...for d direct employment stuff is by d grace of God because so many Nigerians are so desperate to make money dis season so they go as far to arrange wit some small group of company all in d name of direct employment nd some also give u employment wit d name of a company DAT does exit or maybe d company have b closed down and so many different stories like DAT ... so be careful b4 anything... dats y I said its God's grace ..cus have seen so many Nigerians in this manner ... even so many Nigeria are now on d street looking for where to bring dia broder for dem to b frustrated ...cus dey don't care ..all dey care is ur money to b in dia acct so be wise ..

I did my booking @ wak.... dey also tell me to do it or else dey will not carry me. the lady asked me to send the ticket to my agent Dat it will b done at d airline office in UAE.

I wasn't the one that posted it. You can check UAE job sites for opportunities for GPs and see how abundant they are or not. You can also ask friends who are on ground in UAE for direction.

Note that Healthcare industry is a regulated profession in UAE just like in Naija so you need to be licensed or at least have eligibility letter before you can be considered for employment. If you are interested in Abu Dhabi check HAAD website for the requirements and registration guidelines but if it is Dubai check DHA website. Both start with you verifying your credentials and years of experience with a verification company called DATAFLOW after which you now apply to HAAD or DHA which reviewed your application, approve you for exam (either written or oral) after passing which you can proceed to the last stage (look for employer that would sponsor your license - not sure sha) but in all you don't need to attestate your documents in Nigeria at all.

Hmmm, I Will advice you go for 3months tourist visa, though it's somehow expensive and the fear of the unforeseen circumstances that may arise. Don't fall into the den of 9ja travel agent with there sweet offer ooo. I pray a friend on this forum will escape and see the favour of God in the next 5months, so he can give a testimony. Please be careful. I went through a lot despite 3months visa. I will share my experience soon but please I will advice you go for 3months.....

direct employment is good if only you have the RIGHT CONTACT. But I will candidly advise that you go to UAE with tourist visa(3months).Nigerians in collaboration with some other nationalities used employment visa to scam a lot of people. These are my reasons why I will not recommend employment visa.
1.The price is usually higher.(it costs between 9,000 to 10,000 dirahm to get employment visa if u are to get it through agent.)
2.No room for rejection of any offer(whatever condition u meet in Dubai is what you live with)
3.The risk there is higher.
4.The chances of getting real employment visa is very slim.
