But then, which doctor are u using? He is supposed to scan you on CD3 before starting u on any medication for follicle growth. I suspect that the cysts on ur ovaries are leftover from your last period (u said u didn't ovulate last cycle so obviously it left cysts!)
Your doctor is supposed to place u on Provera or let you wait out a cycle so the cysts can go and a well let your ovaries rest. But whatever the case, DO NOT let your doctor start you on injectables without a scan to confirm that the cysts are gone! That would be disaster.

I thought provera is for irregular menses,abnormal menses or lack of menses. Well my dr didn't raise any issues with d cysts I guess cos of d size and number.

I know cranberry juice helps alot but ur urine should be collected and cultured, antibiotics that's the most sensitive should be administered. First get a test done.

You should go run a test. Frequent urination most times can be linked to urinary tract infection (UTI).

I also hope you are not overdosing with the garlic insertion. Garlic act like antibiotic and sometimes antibiotics kill the gold bacteria in us. Killing good bacteria will now leave one open

thanks ma, as for the garlic insertion I duno if I am overdosing cos I only do at atimes during d day, cos at night u go just feel sometin inside ur nyash, wake up na hubby, so I don't wana risk d garlic swimming inside my uterus(hehehe).

Unsweetened cranberry juice works, u just drink it regularly. When I newly got married I had recurring UTI, I drank cranberry juice alot, together with the antibiotics recommended .

Cd8 is early for ovulation but I normally start noticing ovulation symptoms from cd8. Do you use ovulation tests? I use clearblue digital and from cd8, I get a flashing smiley face which means ovulation is close, then on cd14 I get the steady smiley face which means ovulation should occur within 24hrs. Is this a medicated cycle for u? Any fertility drugs?

Cranberry juice is very nice! I used it when clomid used to dry my cm,someone suggested cranberry juice 250ml! I did an that month I had the best quality of cm for making babies.

Yes hun, parlodel works better in my own opinion. But that's a decision between u and ur OB/GYN.

Ttc for baby number 2 for 6months now. Waiting for my period to start next week Monday so I start clomid (on cd2) then hsg on cd9 and trigger shot on cd12. That's the protocol I used for my last pregnancy and it worked like a charm (b/g twin delivered at 35weeks b lost the baby boy).
I pray u get ur bfp and will only need an ob for antenatal not diagnosis.

Kikiki DHs are like dat.

You can insert garlic like dat: minmum
You can make small small incisions: medium
You can also cut in two halves: maximum
Depends on the extent of the infection.

1. what drug did you use to induce ovulation?..clomid?, wch cd days did u take it
2. i assume you did tvs, what was the follicle sizes
3. when was the trigger shot given?. how big were the follicles then?.. how many IU of the trigger hot/hcg was administered.

you could try the bitterleaf therapy, it has helped some women to voulate n produce good eggs, thus achieving pregnancy

Sorry I didn't r ur reply well. I took vitex to regulate my period (it use to come as it likes...lol. Sometimes once in 3months) but vitex regulated it somehow (at least it doesn't go more than 31days now).
My meds this month would be clomid 100mg cd2-6, then hcg trigger shot on cd12 then start progesterone on at 3dpo (3days post ovulation). I would be using the progesterone just as a precautionary measure since clomid thins the uterine linning and with pcos...my body does not produce enough progesterone on its own!!!

Yes I took th one in that tetrapack but be sure to look out for the unsweetened one. The fruit should be at shoprite but maybe more expensive and time consuming (when I bought the fruit I blended it and drank raw).

Sorry to bump in, I think u were mean to write 5000iu of trigger? If yes then suggest 10,000iu to ur doctor. And do u kno the brand he uses? Pregnyl or...can remember the name but it's in yellow pack and produced by one German company. Pregnyl didn't make me ovulate.

U can read from the beginning of this thread, am sure you will find older monikers with similar issues , that's what I do when am looking for answers. Lifestyle change is key. Don't know ur age,that could be a factor. I can't remember d moniker diagnosed with ovarian failure but I know she is a mother now, she changed her diet and lifestyle, she was constantly on vegetables,fruits, protein, fish and low carb diet with supplements to improve ovarian reserve and she conceived naturally after failed ivf . I don't know the supplements she took but u can do extensive research as well and also let ur dr guide you.

mummykyrti , if I were in ur shoes and I can't go for an infection test, I would do a pregnancy test and if that is ruled out, I would use natural methods to flush out the infection. Probably bitter leaf juice. (I am still yet to try this wonderful bitter leaf therapy).

But since na ovulation time u dey so, u fit add kpekus incase. But try to treat whatever is making u urinate every 5 mins pls. All these little little things matter in TTC. I am talking from my small experience

everything appears ok, i wonder how u concluded you didnt ovulate?
was a tvs done 2 to 3 days after the trigger shot?. 22m n 19mm are pretty good mature follicles. curious to know how you concluded you didnt ovulate. secondly consider suggesting to the doc to use 10,000IU trigger shot, which is the full dose, 5,000 iu is used in cases where ohss is suspected. also buy the trigger shot in a good pharmacist that hv fridge, as its recommended to keep it at below 20 degC at all times

I can't remember the exact antibiotics that eventually worked cos it kept reoccurring , i remember the dr just telling me I have UTI , I didn't see the result , she gave me nitrofurantoin but it didn't stop so I self medicated with what a pharmacist recommended but it didn't stop. I know i also tried ciprofloxacin as well.
First get the test done, so the exact bacteria is ascertained, not all antibiotics work, the antibiotics that is the most sensitive will be recommended in the test result. Cos if u don't treat with the right antibiotics and complete the dosage it will keep recurring.
I forgot to add that another reason for reoccurrence is not abstaining, u and dh should both be on the antibiotics and abstain from kpekus.

U r still young Na.. don't get urself worked up, u will get married and conceive immediately. The levels u ve don't match ur age sha; Ur levels may not be fantastic now but with diet, lifestyle change and supplements am sure u will conceive sharply.

He did Pt and it was negative.He said i will go for hormonal assay and i will be given drugs to trigger my af after which he will fix a date for a laprascopy to be done. Pls fvine and other sabi mamas make una put mouth for my case.Am a bit scared especially concerning that laprascopy.They said total of 12tests will be carried out at d rate of 22650.(hormonal assay,including other basic test )Pls make una help me .is all this necessary for my case (am hving serious irregular cycles,hv taken evergreen formula and it normalized only to start again.i didnt menstruate in September,it came oct 1st and up till now;am yet to see Af)And who hv done laproscopy before,and what's d price for it
