BarcaBlood:Which Mourinho tactics other than to defend and counter knowing that Arsene will not compromise attacking. He succeeded at Chelsea because they had better and stronger players. But with those lepers at United? It's suicide at Old Trafford. I'd rather join ISIS at least to get 70 virgins... 2 Likes |

Spy360: Arsenal r favorites but mourinho jst knw hw to beat wenger no matter wat, even his worst chelsea side beat arsenal last season wen arsenal was in better form, and dat old trafford fear which i think is psychological 4 arsenal is gonna be a factor, d odds were in favor of arsenal last season too until a certain unknown rashford happened. SAF once fielded 7 defenders against arsenal @old trafford and still won |

“Paul’s an offensive player; he needs freedom and the team needs him to have that. “He can score 10 a season. With his strength, the way he hits the ball with both feet, his ability in the air, you have to make the most of that. “The team’s fine, enjoying the work, training well. I like Mourinho’s sessions: very dynamic, always with the ball.” - Ander Herrera |

“Well, David De Gea is the easy one in goal. I would then pick Antonio Valencia, Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly and probably Daley Blind at left-back at this moment in time. “I would then have Paul Pogba to the left in midfield, Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera in there. Then ahead of them, I’d have Henrikh Mikhtaryan to the right and then….Anthony Martial to the left and Marcus Rashford." - Gary Neville 1 Like |

"Physically I feel fine, I feel really good in all honesty. "You have to manage yourself a little bit more when you get older and international breaks allow me to stay fresh, but also as fit as possible for the games coming up. "I haven't played nowhere near as much as I have wanted to play, but I understand the situation. It’s about finishing the season strong and being successful as a squad. "Whatever my contribution is, whether it's big or it's little, then I’m ready to make it. "I've seen it so many times at this club, how players go about things when they get into their mid-thirties. "You've just got to judge it as you go along. Physically how do I feel? Am I able to do it? More importantly, do the manager and the club feel I am still able to do it? So there are a lot of things to judge but there's plenty of time for that [to discuss the future]. We're not even at Christmas yet so we've got bags of time." - Michael Carrick |

Patrice Evra claims Paul Scholes was the only Manchester United player who never suffered Sir Alex Ferguson's 'hairdryer' treatment. Mark Hughes referred to Ferguson's volcanic dressing room eruptions as the 'hairdryer' in the 90s and the tag successfully stuck, with The Sun commemorating the Scot's retirement by splashing with a United hairdryer hung up. Scholes, who turned 42 on Wednesday, was wished a happy birthday by former teammate Evra on Instagram. "Happy birthday legend!!! Simply the best midfielder on planet!!!" Evra wrote. "The only players never get the hairdryer from the boss. Soo lucky. I love this game hahahaahahah." Rio Ferdinand admitted as far back as 2007 that Scholes was the only United player who did not face Ferguson's wrath. "Anyone who says they've not been shouted at other than Paul is probably lying," Ferdinand said. "He can't be shouted at, he's too good to be shouted at. He doesn't make mistakes. He's just a great player." Ferguson last week claimed he only used the 'hairdryer' six times during his 26-and-a-half year reign at United. "There was a lot of myth about it. It happened about half a dozen times in 27 years and the players will tell you that," he said. "The problem for me was if a player answered me back, I headed towards them. That was my problem. "Jock Stein always said to me, 'Leave it until Monday to talk to them,' but I said I couldn't wait until Monday. So, on a Saturday after the game, I told them exactly how I felt, because we had trained at a level all week that I expected to win every game. "I told them exactly the truth and the truth works. All the players understood that and it was never held against me. Then the next day it is pushed aside and I'm prepared to win again. I never ruled by fear. "Name a Manchester United team that played with fear. My job was to get a positive attitude into that team, for them to express themselves, never give in and enjoy playing for the club. That is sacrosanct." |

TALKING POINTS: MANCHESTER UNITED V ARSENAL Arsenal will provide the opposition on Saturday as Manchester United make a welcome return to action in the first of four consecutive Old Trafford matches. The Reds are hungry to bag a positive Premier League result and, here, we present five talking points ahead of the action... A CHANCE TO MAKE A STATEMENT Saturday’s match kicks off at 12:30 GMT and a victory over an in-form title contender would unquestionably send a strong message to the rest of the division. United are sixth in the table and a positive result against third-placed Arsenal would naturally put pressure on the other teams above the Reds, with Tottenham Hotspur (West Ham away), Manchester City (Crystal Palace away) and leaders Liverpool (Southampton away) all in action later in the day. Chelsea, who are currently second, travel to Middlesbrough on Sunday. IBRAHIMOVIC IN THE STANDS Top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic earned a fifth yellow card of the season in United’s 3-1 win at Swansea last time out and that means the Swede will miss Saturday’s match as he serves a one-match ban. “I'm sorry I am suspended,” the 35-year-old striker told MUTV. “I wish I wasn't as it's a game I really wanted to play in. But I have trust in my team-mates and the team. I know they can do fine without me.” WHO WILL DEPUTISE FOR ZLATAN? Wayne Rooney may seem like the natural choice but it remains to be seen if the captain will be fit for selection, after returning from England duty on Monday with a minor knee injury on Monday. His absence could pave the way for 19-year-old Marcus Rashford to deputise, 265 days after the teenager scored twice against Arsenal on his Premier League debut. Anthony Martial might also get the nod, with the Frenchman presumably fit and raring to go after spending the international break at the Aon Training Complex. SANCHEZ SHOULD BE FIT An ongoing story throughout the international break was the fitness of Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, after the former Barcelona man suffered a muscle injury while training with Chile. Any doubts over his availability dissipated on Tuesday night, however, when the South American scored twice and won the Man of the Match award in a terrific 3-1 comeback victory over Uruguay in the World Cup qualifying competition. We can therefore expect to see the diminutive powerhouse in action at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. MOURINHO’S EXCELLENT RECORD Here’s a fact to impress your mates with… Jose Mourinho has not lost any of his 13 league and cup matches against Arsene Wenger so far, securing seven wins and six draws. The Gunners boss has triumphed over the former Chelsea manager just once, in the 2015 Community Shield. |

BarcaBlood:Yes you have a point. But in all of those situations it's either we were having injury crises or referee showing us an early red card. Our boys are now more matured and confidence with stability is very high. Unless something goes wrong, like you said we are favourites. And that is my point. |
