Phil Neville believes Wenger missed it by picking Ramsey ahead of Iwobi and In truth, Ramsey did not do much in terms of offering Arsenal that bite and balance in attack. Wenger set his team up defensively with Coquelin and Elneny in midfield and Ramsey out on the left. Icon79: |

TheSuperNerd: This isn't good news for Nigeria. We really need Isaac Success to remain healthy. I am hoping to see him partner Iwobi, Moses, and Iwobi in the Super Eagles frontline. My thoughts and prayers are with him. |

This world Cup sef. well any coach anyday would take experience any time over talent see how Rohr managed Akpeyi. He nervously kep shout at his defenders but they didn't listen to him Cos he isn't an Enyeama. I wonder how Ikeme does his coordination sef. he rarely shouts or talks, but makes fine saves. January must open for him. |

TheSuperNerd:When he removed Jenkinson I knew he was going back to 3-5-2 especially since he removed both DMs. It paid off. the formation gave a goal 7 mins after it was initiated. Wenger must have phobia for seeing an injured Iwobi I guess. which I kinda agree, cos the way Valencia and darmian, etc were man making...... |

TheSuperNerd: I was surprised that we couldn't get Enyeama to play against Algeria. However, we should let him go, if he had actually said that he can only come back if we qualify for the World Cup. We don't need such attitude. And in addition, how could we discard a player who sweated to help us qualify for the world cup just so we can make room for Enyeama? BS upon BS! O pari 1 Like |

Lions to go for broke against Nigeria Cameroon After sputtering to their second straight draw news from the Indomitable Lions camp is that the Cameroonians are now looking at both games with Nigeria as must wins to get to the 2018 World Cup. In fact, coach Hugo Broos some say, has been given an ultimatum by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) to beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria or lose his job..Broos himself seems to indirectly acknowledge this, and has called both games crucial and decisive and promised to prepare his team for the challenge. He shared: “However, we know that the matches against Nigeria will be decisive. We will have to win to have another chance to go to the World Cup. We have eight months to prepare.” Against Zambia the Lions squandered many chances and were often caught on the back foot peddling back into their part of the field so Broos must now find a way to balance their attack without committing too many men forward. When facing Nigeria this balance will be of uttermost importance as the Eagles showed against Algeria. The West Africans always talented, seem under German coach Rohr to have also developed the mental part of their game, and that should be a big worry to all their group opponents. In the last three outings under Rohr, Nigeria have remained composed while seeking to score and calm after taking the lead. The new look Eagles play unruffled and have yet to trail in any of the aforementioned games and the Lions will seek not so much as to score quickly in Nigeria, but score first. At home the tactics will change and their attack will start as soon as the anthems end. It wont be easy but Broos is counting on two things. He has enough time to prepare and the Central Africans in football, have always been a thorn in their neighbours side. TheSuperNerd: For some reasons, Wenger would always start a healthy Ramsey. He just likes the guy. But I was expecting to see him subbed by Iwobi after the first half since Aaron was MIA thru out the first half. Instead he decided to bring in Giroud and move Ramsey back, one can argue that he got it right since Arsenal got an equalizer. However, I believe that bringing in Iwobi for Ramsey would've worked even better because Alex would've brought cohesion and stability in the final 3rd for Arsenal. |

Eagles will be ranked (among) Top 10 teams in the World – Akinwunmi Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) 1st Vice President, Seyi Akinwunmi, says he dreams to see the Super Eagles ranked among the top 10 teams of the world sooner than later. In the last FIFA rankings in October, the Super Eagles were ranked a distant 60th in the world and 11th in Africa but there are strong indications that they could move 10 steps up to 50 in the coming November rankings as a result of their impressive performances in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Zambia and Algeria. Akinwunmi said that the Super Eagles' progression in the FIFA rankings is an indication that Nigerian football is on the right track and in right hands. “I respect FIFA and I respect their rankings but FIFA rankings are only one aspect of our assessment of our football development in Nigeria. In that aspect we’re moving forward. “We want to go back to the top 10 and that’s my dream but is only one aspect. We’ve so many things to do for our football in Nigeria- youth development, beach soccer and all others but is good news to see the Super Eagles move steps up in the FIFA ladder,” he said. FIFA rankings for November will be announced on Thursday 24. Source: http://www.thebreakingtimes.com/eagles-will-be-ranked-top-10-teams-in-the-world-akinwunmi/ 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd: I know they would be ready to come at us with everything they got, but it would be over for them if we can beat them in Nigeria and secure a draw against them in Yaoundé (or wherever they decide to take the match). I wish that Zambia had beaten them in the last game, that would've put them in a very precarious position. And Zambia was hold onto the lead until that Cameroun was given that soft penalty. But all in all, nothing spoil....we're still in much better position than Cameroun. O pari O pari 1 Like |

The NFF should not allow Coach Rohr led technical crew to entertain this kind of nonsense. We must not welcome Jordon Hybe, so that his fuckup will serve as a deterrant to others. 1 Like |

You're right Sir Joseph. I dont see an Enyeama willing to sit on the bench for Ikeme. Let's check on Ligali of Montpellier instead. When Oliseh shopped for Enyeama's back-up on taking over last year, Ikeme's and Ligali's names came up afterall. This can be done unless Ligali says a big no. What we have now apart from Ikeme are quality young goalies like Alampasu, Nwokolor, Osigwe and Emma Daniel (the oldest of these young goalies). Ezenwa and Akpeyi are not quality back-ups or reliable second-choice goalies. So why dont we check out Ligali? joseph1013: 1 Like |

So I wanna see him compromise at least for once , since this statement is coming from someone who has been with Iheanacho and closely evaluated his abilities. |
