Is life all about marriage? He is better in his single state than many living shabby and disgraceful married life. To link his death to him sleeping with another's wife when such wasn't mentioned in the post shows your sordid state of mind. We see life from our own lens, we usually assume others do what we do.

I have spoken my mind that's all.

Typical Afonja....zero respect. Not surprised as most of you are raised by women....no father at home to instill in your how to be a man seen in SE and SS men. 99.9999% of all post about cucumber are by Afonja men. And like I said if you find them, I swear to God, they didn't grow up with fathers. This is not being deceptive....When I went to secondary school in SW, out of 9 Afonjas, 7 didn't know their fathers. They were raised by their mothers. The same problem faced by African American men being wayward and unproductive because of being raised by mothers is plaguing Afonjas today. That's why they are dying to marry Igbo women raised by fathers to balance them out and better raise their kids. Older Afonjas know what I'm talking about as they know this is destroying Afonja generation.

Ikwucha imechie onu.

Absolutely! I am not bragging but i ve got a two 2 bedroom houses in london almost mortgage free, just from cabbing weekends and not to talk about all the properties in nigeria. I ve been cabbing weekends for nearly 5 years now and it's brilliant! I also work for uber some times. To hell! with nice shiny shoes, suits and ties 8 to 10 hours shift jobs. Some of my friends who works in banks as cashier always come to borrow funds from me just because they are earning pittance and broke all the time.
though cabbing can be dangerous atimes as in the case of this guy, you come across all kinda people from drug dealers to junkies, drunks and prostitutes all sorts of criminal activities and criminals.

Dey lie small small na!"

that got me wondering too.a college graduate and yet he is just a taxi driver.
we dont know the detail of the mans life. he might have be the owner of the cab company and have people working for him while also driving as a taxi driver too in his business. people that own limo and cab company earn tons of money

Having a college degree here in the US does not automatically translate to making as much money drivers make especially if you are talking about a hard working driver. Its a known fact here that many plumbers, electricians, automobile technicians, elevator installers and repairers earn far more than even some phd holders.
also who knows if the man is the owner of his cab company he works at. owner of cab or limo companies make good money. Also it looks like a robbery gone wrong so he must have been well off to be targeted by robbers.

NickleTheory:
This shìt doesn't make sense...How can you live in the states for 30 years and be a common Cab driver and he had a degree for Fvcks sake[b]Kangaroo Journalism.

AND WHAT KIND OF A COMMENT WAS THAT?
"A Common cab driver, huh?"
Is that the best thing you have to say about this man? A fellow Nigerian who was just murdered?
That's such a crass, elitist and very dumb comment on your part. You should apologize and take it back.
I bet his family will really love your comment. Let me say one thing, it's none of your business whether the guy was selling fried fish or akara. At least, it's better than kidnapping, robbery, doing 419 or smuggling drugs to Malaysia or Indonesia or embezzling money.
Many foreigners in the US (even some with double degrees) have driven taxis at one time or another to support themselves and their family.
There's nothing wrong with that. The way you think is the problem with Nigeria today - GREED. Everyone wants to pretend to live a life that they do not deserve. No one is content. It's about what you look like, not what you really are. Next time, why don't you think first before you make such lowly statements or taking a cheap shot? A degree or money or expensive cars and big homes is NOT everything! Don't forget that you take nothing with you after you die! You leave everything here on earth!
You arrived on this earth with nothing. You leave with nothing!

He stepped out almost immediately, if not immediately... Cld dat person have arranged a murder within dat tym?
Read again...
"Cyril who moved from Nigeria to the US over 30 years ago, had on the day he was killed, closed early in the evening in order to go home and watch the US presidential election. After exchanging banters with some colleagues, he packed up his laptop and stepped out of the office. A few minutes later, one of his colleagues heard gunshots outside the building."
Banter no be argument... and even if it does... Could his colleague arrange a murder within dat short period because he left almost immediately, if not immediately
