The people crying patriotism are mostly Kenyans and SAns defending their own countries too. The hypocrisy makes you wonder who are the really psychic people here.
The best parts of Nigeria cannot be compared to the best parts of Kenya. Lagos is beautiful, classy and expensive. Lagos is a big economy. If you've truly been to Lagos, the buzz and activeness will make you understand what makes Lagos tick and why it can't be underestimated. The bad effects of such big population and activities will always tell on the less developed parts. But the very developed parts are truly exclusive. Eko Atlantic is no longer a dream. It's becoming a reality with many buildings coming up. Imagine what this place would look like in 5 to 10 years. Lagos is an African giant, no doubt about this.

Check who got the biggest black middle class in Africa,you will see that South Africa is leading by a wide margin,you go to places like Houghton,Bryanstan,Centurion,Sandton etc,you will see rich black South Africans there

It was filled with dusty roads, old building(lack of renovation), bad roads, mountain dirty, hawkers, dirty water, bag snatchers, etc I can go on and on but now you can't see all those things in many parts of Lagos.

Most of those buildings in Lagos where built within 17 years. Hundreds of them.

Most of the movies where shot outside Lagos and major cities. They shoot those movies in villages and small towns.

Democracy is good for Nigeria because you will notice we only made headway during those periods.

Nigerians are still not satisfied with the recent developments. They want to be like America hence the continuous criticism of the government.

Development is going on the Nigeria but this government....

Fact....SA is ahead of Nigeria though it's slightly with Lagos catching up to Johannesburg and Abuja catching up to Capetown....it's not easy like I said to surpass Johannesburg or Capetown moreover we are creating a legend for ourselves not looking up to someine Else....Lagos before 2022 will be on par with Johannesburg....like I also said Lagos will be like Beijing while Johannesburg will be like new York...both are legends in their different ways....and Abuja like los Angeles and Capetown like London....it's a matter of time and Abuja and Lagos are really moving fast like Lewis Hamilton....overtaking anyone .....si right know Lagos and Abuja might still be behind those SA giant cities but it's a matter of time before they are neck and and neck
