By my own understanding, coming into the new season, every team has a motive, they all try to win the league, the teams are not of the same quality, since Alaves cannot spend like Barca would, it will only take miracle for them to beat all odds and win the league, but trust me, all the 20 teams are ready to challenge for the title while I think Title contenders are those who have better chances and the wherewithal to win the league, they can fight, they can spend, they will try.....we have a lot of contenders in the EPL, they mostly have almost equal spending power and rich squad unlike in the LaLiga where you have just two strong teams with superb spending power and quality players.


Sevilla, ATM, Valencia that u think are contenders can never drag a quality player with Barca/Madrid except if they would lose their star players to these 2 teams (Isco and Rakitic) comes to mind

All players i listed were quality and important players to their clubs before being sold to a direct title winning rival. Barca and rMaDrid are even bigger clubs who will find it even easier to poach d players if dey were in d epl, i even read of a recent victor moses interview where he stated dat his childhood dream was to play for barca ( thats how dey start )
