In fact, let's count these clear-cut chances Ibra had missed so far in the league.

One was missed against burnley after Pogba cross, the only other clear-cut Ibra had, was Mata's pass which was well saved by the keeper.

2 were missed against city (the one after Rashford's cross and the one blocked by Stones).

Only 1 clear-cut against Liverpool even though I don't think that one was actually quite clear-cut.

1 was missed against Watford after Rashford's cross. The other one was too far to his reach and the Watford keeper quickly made it to the ball before he could.

Against Stoke, the only clear-cut he had was double saved by the Stoke keeper. In fact, Pogba and Lingard's clear cut chances weren't even saved.

He didn't have any against Westham, majorities were air volley shots or difficult headed chances to boot. The one good ground shot he had was well blocked.

So, Elampiro do tell me these clear-cut you had imagined in your head.

How many does Ibra even get per game?

So where did you keep the one against City? Against Watford he missed another one vs one due to lack of pace, the video I provided didn’t capture it. There was another match Rooney clearly picked him with a pin pointing pass but he again missed.

You don't expect me to have everything in my memory. If not that you I reminded you about those chances I mentioned, you had already forgotten about them. It is a shame that you contest football events that are scientificially collated and used by FAs, Clubs, coach, journalists, TV analysts, etc. This is not about mamaput, before you came here, this and some other issues you contest now have long been settled.

What kind of thinking is this?

Ibrahimovic had 9 inside the 6 yard box.
34 inside the 18 yard box.

The area of the pitch doesn’t define what kind of chance it is.

Ibra had 9 shots taken from inside the penalty and Opta judged him to have missed 8 big chances, coincidence?

Abegi, I have better things to do with my time!

Rooney cross was no clear-cut chance. It was an aerial ball to the side of the net, not in front of goal. He would need some manoeuvring of the head before that can land inside the net.. In fact, he did justice to the ball but the keeper saved it. Ibra isn't a machine, take that to your brain. As if Rooney can even score that, he's not even as tall to reach that level.

The one against Watford isn't clear-cut per say. It was a defensive error by the Watford defenders and they promptly closed down Ibra before he could take a shot.

In a video, Luke Shaw was asked the fastest players at Old Trafford.

1. Marcus Rashford is the quickest player at the club.

2. Valencia

3.Anthony Martial but he claimed he's fastest with the ball.

4. Luke Shaw.

Is this the best a club like Man Utd can offer...It's really sad when we don't have gunz blazing speed on our wings like Real Madrid's Bale....Our wing play is some of the most irritating in the EPL especially the right side...Imagine when your wingbacks are the fastest on your team.

His crosses are good though but as a typical winger who drives forward and take-on defenders, he isn't as good. He was probably more of a wing forward at the academy, I didn't even notice him before his promotion.

Which match was that Rooney's cross let's see if it's same event we are talking about?

On the other hand, defensive error or not, a clear cut chance is a clear cut chance. Last season, Martial intercepted a back pass meant for the opposition goalkeeper, that was a clear cut chance since it set him one vs one against the keeper.

These things are recorded by computer. The same system that said Ibrahimovic has converted only 11% says Walcott has converted 40%. Yet Walcott is one of the worst in the EPL.

Abegi, I have better things to do with my time!

It's just a coincidence. Otherwise why does Walcott has 21 shots inside the penalty box while his total clear cut chances is 15.

We could go on with Defoe, Lukaku.

Abeg you be go school before o? You have seen opta website, skysports, etc defined for you what a clear cut chance is, you are here still thinking clear cut chances could possible be shots taken inside the box. You appear not to even know the difference between the penalty box and the six yard area.

The thing is we should be grateful to Ibra because he makes those chances happen in the first place. Rashford wouldn't even bother about those nonsense.

Did you think Rashford/Aguero/Aubameyang would be contesting any of those aerial ball/mid air balls the team often launched into the opposition's box? Definitely not. As a matter of fact, I've seen Ibra made a lot of Valencia's average crosses look great which wasn't the case when Rashford/Rooney was leading the line last season.

Yes, Ibra has missed some chances but it has been grossly overstated. As far I'm concerned, he's created much more than those he's missed and has scored more difficult goals for us.

He simply contributes much more to the team. He's still the best at providing throughballs in the team and has been involved in majority of our chances. He created a lot against Burnley as well as the Stoke city match and in the Westham game etc. Even majority of Rashford's goals were fashioned out by Ibra.

As you already know, I like Rashford than Ibra but that doesn't mean I should be deluded in my reasoning. The reality is Ibra suits this kind of Mourinho's aerial style a lot more than Rashford. Not only that, his vision is also essential in our attacking play in the final third because we still don't have a major creative player in the team, don't be so deluded with the crosses and lofted balls the team often launched into the box!

The truth is I've seen all the chances Ibra had and I've even put it to you to spell these chances out yet you kept bringing up Opta stats? How does this Opta determine its clear-cut chances?

It's like a player made a 5 yards forward pass to his compatriot who made a 15 yards forward pass to another mate but Opta would have us believe both made forward passes.

Abegi!

can't remember too many good crosses tbh.
he should work on that last part if he wants to last long.
i used to clamor for him to play as a striker cause i though that was his position in the academy.

He hardly put in crosses but everytime he does, it's often well hit, for example, the City game.

Very stupid Fool, instead of kicking bottles why don't you channel that enthusiasm and instruct your deadpan players to kick balls into the nets?

[s]Depay and Martial relegated. Funny how two years ago most people thought those 2 would be performing miracles by now. [/s]

My bad. Thought Martial was still out of contention. Good that he's back. We need goals. SMH for Memphis.

At the end of the season, I hope Ibra would still have the legs to walk into the Woodward's office to sign the New contract Mourihno talked about last week.

No,, not exactly.. that guy is just a willing runner,, with not so impressive end product..

last time out,, he tracked back and ended up fouling a player which led to the early goal..

I feel we really need some sort of stability tho.. asides DeGea,, Val,, Pogba and Ibra,, I can't say who makes up our first 11..

I'm all for rotation and competition bla bla but we need consistency abeg.. both in our lineup and in our results too.. we just de blow hot and cold every week..
