I just dont understand what is happening. This is so demeaning and people are praising him.

If you properly study the body language of Fayose during the sharing, it does not in any way show his love and affection towards those kids, infact it reflects a kind of Master-servant relationship. This is totally uncalled for. He was frowning and acting as if he resents the kids but have no option but to carry out the sharing.
