Sir, Let me be very 'brief' with you:

1. I dont call someone a thief, if they have not stolen from me or they have not been convicted of stealing in a court of law. I just dont call people a thief simply because others said so. I was hoping his current trial will out doubts (positive or negative to rest) but until then, l will give him the benefit of doubt. I just dont roll with the crowd.

2.) I am matured enough to know that when two people go into a business transaction (like build me a house and l would pay you x-amount), if there are disagreements, of whatever kind, the best place to resolve it is either between themselves or in court.............. not in a mob-style, lynch-him, on Social Media.
You can see the example of the man who took him to a Law Court, and l applaud that move so much. Let the Courts decide. Most Nigerians are too emotional, instead of being practical.

3.) That l do not join you or others to condemn someone does not mean l am "defending him", .........it simply means "l am being my own man, using my own brain and making my own decisions as to how to treat the person". You will at least agree with me that l reserve that right?

4.) I do not subscribe to the "undue pressure" people mount on others here, just to 'go with the flow' and do as others are doing! I think everyone should be able to make up their minds as to how they want to relate with anyone here. I have seen a 'grown-up man" capitulate under pressure, just to satisfy those who think they make the rules around here! That is very annoying to me and no amount of pressure will change my position. The only thing that can change my views is hard evidence and conviction at the appropriate Courts,.... not Mob Justice!
I will treat Brabus the same way l would treat anyone here (with respect, friendliness and fairness), until they dupe me or are convicted of duping someone else, by an competent authority.

5.) Finally, When l registered on Nairaland, nobody knew. I did not register with someone in mind. I did not register to make friends or enemies. I did not even have to register with my real name (just like all of you!). So, l have no personal connection to ANYONE on Nairaland, past what we do here anonymously.
The issue of RESPECT and REPUTATION is infantile for an anonymous moniker (no matter how anyone feels about the monicker @Lastpage! ). It is only important to those who want to 'make a life' out of Nairaland, build their personality on Nairaland affiliates and obtain their respect from nairaland!
All those things dont apply to me! I have a 'real life, real respect, real life reputation that would be the envy of many!
If my anonymous moniker has "reputation and respect" (as some people say! not me!!), how much more my real life personality? Think about it for a second.

Has anyone offered me irrefutable PROOF of Brabus guilt?
Even the Courts, Lawyers, Judges and other members of "advanced society" do believe in that

For example, some said he used his Bus to steal building materials, yet NO EVIDENCE of him doing so is offered? Am l so dunce as to swallow such?
Even myself has been alleged to "share" in money paid to Brabus, l have been called a fraud, have been called Brabus, Commonsense101, e.t.c ...without a single PROOF being offered yet most folks here "swallowed it"!
Is it not someone who came here recently after the Dec 15 court appearance, to say "Brabus is in jail, l saw it with my own eyes"!
Has that not turned out to be a lie?

If most of his accusers can defame me, lie against me (and l know, just as they know they are lying), why should l believe them, about Brabus, if they dont offer me irrefutable proof?

Just think about it for a minute.

I think people who want to make/keep enmity with Brabus are FREE to do so! Its their right.
But do they have the right to tell me to "Do as they are doing"?

The right to self-determination is fundamental and people should grow-up and learn to respect the right of others to think independently.
I am writing all these out of courtesy as l dont have to defend my position to anyone but just so people can understand my "point of view" (not saying they should "accept" my point of view, .....which is their prerogative!)

I am not supporting Brabus, l am not defending him and at the same time, he is not my enemy and l have NOTHING against him so, l will as before continue to interact with him, as l do with others here.
Whomsoever does not like that can keep away from me (as in ignore my mentions).

From what I've seen so far, all of the people accusing you of fraud can't be wrong If some of them have been wrong. I'm no fool not to believe some of them have been right with accusation of fraud against you too. There have been too many against you that they have become indefensible and incomprehensible to any of us with conscience.

I will tell you as I feel, you have been toxic and need to find redemption. You need to ask for forgiveness. You need to find peace with those you have taken away what belongs to them. Your recent prosecution as published in the dailies can never make me have any conversation with you. I hate it when people diminish themselves with that label of FRAUD. I can't stand it. I know how hard it is to make money and I wouldn't take what belongs to another person. My reputation is very important to me.

My advise to you is to find way to meet those you have taken from them what belongs to them. They all can't be wrong. Don't you think so?

@abunafiu, congrats on ur new home and solar setup, seems your borehole pump is ac operated, wonder why you didnt g for a dc pump?.
2ndly whats the discharge rate of your 0.5hp pump?, ie 200liters per min or 400 etc...or if you dont know, how long does it take to fill your 5k/10k overhead tanks?

COST OF BUILDING A FENCE
For 1 full plot of land.
All Professional QS and Construction Management Engineers like myself do it like this to calculate the total number of blocks we will use which will serve as #1 basis for other materials, and calculations.

1. Calculate the number of square feet in the fence walls. Multiply the length times the height of each wall. Then add up the results. For example, for a 60-by-120-foot fence, with walls 10 feet high, you have two walls that are 60-by-10 feet and two walls that are 120-by-10 feet. This gives you a total of 3600 square feet.

2. Now, we should consider the gates or entrance that will be left out and which are usually 16ft wide, and 10ft high, giving us a total of 160sq ft. Minus 160sq ft from 3600sq ft, giving us a net wall area of 3440 sq ft.

3. Find out how many 6 or 9 inches blocks fit into a sq ft by the net wall area. Both are about the same lenght, but just differ in thickness, and a sq ft will take 0.85 block. Meaning that a sq ft will take about a whole block. Now, multiply 0.85 x 3600, that gives us = 3,060 pieces of blocks.

PS: This just for blocks to be laid on casted rafted frame work for our fence if the land is dry.

B.

In Lay Man's Language, we will need"

1. 3060 pcs of 6x6 blocks (plus 5% which is an extra 153 extra block, because you will have broken ones) = 3213 pcs x 130 Naira = #417,690.

2. For a simple fence work, 100 blocks = 1 bag of cement x 32.13 plus, extra bags used for foundational work and concrete works that serves as reinforcement = 52 bags of cement x #1800 (depending on cement quality and location) = #93,600

3. For Iron rod I've always calculated 70 leghts for every fence.
Calcultion is far more complex, so wont go into it, therefore 70 lenght of 12mm rod = 70x1300 = #51,000 (plus binding wires and rings) = #55,000

4. Hey, lets not forget the woods that would be used for the framework, we need that too. Meaning, for every single pillars in the wall, you need 4 pcs of 2x4, and 4 pcs of 1x12, my detailed estimation, puts woods within #15,000

5. Sand (4 trucks 10 tonnes each), granite (1 truck 20 tonnes). Prices varies, but one truck of granite is #100,000 firm down here, and 4 trucks of sand makes #80,000 making it a complete total of #180,000

6. Finally, the gate which varies a lot. We have plain sheets, which wont last more than 10 years if superbly coated. And checkered plates which will last longer than your house if well coated. For some uninformed reasons, 90% of homes ive seen use plain sheet, and a gate of such value cost from #70,000 upwards, depending on the wrought iron designs on it. The best gate is checkered gate, and the cheapest with less design goes for around #150,000

7. Now, add up the cost of transporting the materials to the building site. If its close to where building materials are, I am guessing #15,000 most. If not, God help you.


If an individual like me handle it, I happily charge you #150,000 for my charges if the land is dry. I will go higher depender on the level of the water content of your land.

So, simple estimation for a dry land gate = #1,075,690
