people are just Naive.. If u dont have money ..then wait till monday or tomorrow or better go to Onitsha and find cheap transport. You cant be looking for 100 bus to transport you to Lagos but its only 20 bus is available... what do u think will happen... thats the situation there... My friend kept 13k aside cos he knew stuff like this will happen.....they would also blame their fellow igbos because cost of flight increased too 1 Like |

cstr44: First of all, this is not same capitalism as in America this is nothing but exploitation, in America for example prices actually comes down during festive season different stores have lots of sales going on during this time for example the Black Friday sales, Back to School sales, labour day weekend sales etc. Yes There are situation when the prices actually goes up because of demands in America but not by 400% or 500% like by the transporter, it use goes up by 5% to 25% in most cases except for very few cases that may be 50% to 100% increase. You said Nigerian Government(Buhari) should try to regulate the Igbo Man businesses? OYO lol, remember IPOD? or Biafra? You know this is more common in Igbo land than any other region they will see it as Buhari passing a law against the Igbo businesses 3 Likes 1 Share |

Lukay99:I wanted to take the time to cure you of your ignorance only to see the biafra crap you posted and i felt like giving you a dirty slap.. Is igboland no longer under Nigerian control? Is your FG not exploiting crude oil and taxes from igboland? Are the governors in igboland representing biafra? Or is there currently an established government called the biafran govt? If your FG was afraid of igbo backlash your daft president would not have started with his 97% policy and stood by it shamelessly. Don't quote me again with your mindless ignorance, i have no time for nitwits. 2 Likes |

Christmas and other festivals are the days when transporters try to make a little money. I have seen fuel prices increase from N87 to N145 but they continued to charge the old fare. We should understand that fuel price increases affect transporters more than the commuters. It is received wisdom that transport fares from city to village increase from around 23rd December while fares from village to city are normal. Conversely, village to city fares increase after the festival while city to village remains normal 1 Like |

Wow,this is really something,i will agree dat some igbos are greedy, but not all of them,bt maybe majority of thier businessmen,I hv known the igbos to be greedy sinc I was a kid, they can use thier friends for money ritual,I couldnt ven have an igbo friend not to talk of trusting any,but nw that I am old,I have seen alot of amazing igbos,nd i hav many as friends. Our people in my Afonja side concluded dat the igbos are that bad because the ones we have in our markets only knows how to sell fakes, dupe people, call #150 goods for #1000,that small children cant be asked to go buy things from the igbos,my cousin posted to one of the SE state during d hike in price of pure water said he bought 1purewater for #30,in our side they sold it for #15 nd my friends in the North still buy thier purewater for #5. I credit hausa when it comes to being trustworthy, they dont inflate prices anyhow, measure the normal thing for you,and trust me if you forget your goods with them,go back after one week, they will still keep it for you,try am for Igbo,he go deny ever seeing you in his life time. From #5000-#10,000,are they the only one that have plenty people traveling to lagos?,Let biafra becomes Biafra, they will be worst than South Sudan, exploiting one another, and killing each other bcx of money.Igbo man will dupe you and call it na bisiness, rubish 6 Likes |

i met one Igbo guy and asked why he didn't travelled for Xmas, he said, he will go by January 5 that those that have travelled before must have been stranded by them so that he can loan them money with interest. another way to make money for himself, imagine treating there fellow Igbo like that. they can do anything to make money even use there mama or papa for money ritual and come to Lagos to form 'Born again" 1 Like |
