It depends on where you reside. However, IOM is relatively cheaper and their panel of doctors are young chaps.

You can contact them on this email: iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int to book an appointment.

You can pick a date between Monday to Thursday, public holidays excluded.

Please, you got CO allocation after how many weeks?

Well, I'm just reacting based on the fact that the official rate should be around 320N. Comparing that with 432N and then 490/95N (black market)

SUJYDEE:

NGN 70 difference is a very good offer o bros, you will hardly see who will deduct NGN 20-50 for you o except the person is your personal person.

They have been of great support to me in my PR paroles.
I lodger my application to EA on the 11th of April this year, and the outcome came in early today 21st April 2016 I did the fast track one.I applied as a professional Engineer, but in the outcome letter, they said my qualification is equivalent to Engineering Technologist. And that my degree is equivalent to Australia Qualification Framework as bachelors degree. I want to know if this qualifies me to v the 15points.

I wrote IELTS last year, I had above the 6.0 band score but my score didn't fetch me points.however I did PTE jst last month on the 16th of match, result came out early the following day,17th march.
Listening 81
Reading 90
Speaking 84
Writing 80
As it is now, my total points accumulated
English test -20 points
Age-32----- 25 or 30 points,by end of November I wld b a year older, I really don't know which point to pick 25 or 30
Bachelors degree(elect/ elect engineering with telecommunications option--------- 15
Total points= 60 or 65 depending on age point
I want the dons in the house to clarify on the engineering technologist thing.
Thanks house..
Kindly advise on how you prepared for PTE

[quote author=hallelluyah post=52740582]Attention All,
please I would like to ask if it is possible for only me to apply for the PR considering the whopping sum involved as Visa fees of AUD8,100 if I am to apply as a family.

It's much cheaper and convenient to apply as a family at once. Child visa fees is crazy. Try hustle. ....but 8100 AUD big o and with all these transfer hassles! God will help you!

IOM is the bomb. They are very organised and friendly. Paid N42,800 for myself and same for wifey. Xray join for the money ooo. Not so with Fatayi Williams where I think there is an extra charge of 5k for Xray plus the stress of going to St Nicholas. Meanwhile, IOM is along Isaac John Ikeja while the other is on the Island.

You can alternatively use monumaemeze@iom.int

Hello house,

Update!!!EA Positive assessment landed on Tuesday the 10th-Hubby was assessed as a PE.1 down 3 to go.

PTE prep loading...

@Jamson,Iceberg anyone who Front loaded medicals i urgently need a step to step guide on how to go about this because i no dey waste one more second than i have to.

- I will also appreciate recent update/contact for Naija PCC.

Keep pushing people,We will get there.#Optimistic

Cecegal:
Oga Bellong,

Merry Christmas already shared a few here.

1 EA asked for some feedback on Hubby's CDR since September[He wrote episodes based on his work experience as maintenance engineer in a drilling coy and he is assessing as an Electrical Engineer so they need him to be more detailed asper designs and all. Oga is finding it hard to find time and conclude so we can proceed to assessment.Still cajoling and encouraging.

2-EA asked for proof of all work experience where he was employed as an Engineer couldn't get for one of the Companies as they have been bought over by another company. We have done a statutory declaration of work experience for this one and will attach some payslips/publication of sale.

3- EA asked for his CV to be filled without spaces[Hubby has a few gaps between finishing his Masters and getting a job]we are still coming up with ways to sort this out.

4- English test!!!!2 IELTS,2PTE in the bag all 10 points we are gunning for 20 points to avoid claiming points for work experience,Hubby is studying for his next test found a site that has been helpful had to pay a little over a 100dolls to assesses their materials though but while studying he's realized loads of mistakes he's been making and is very optimistic for a 20 in the next one come January.

This is our story so far....Hopeful for 2017.

Merry Christmas and wish us all a dream fulfilling new year ahead.

After putting in your EOI, you get the ITA; then you can frontload your medicals before submitting your visa application.

If you are in Lagos, seems IOM Clinic at Isaac John street is a quicker option now for medicals, as you can get the x-ray done at same location.

For PCC, make sure you don't pass the 5k/head mark (infact 4k/head- forex rates no dey affect PCC).

Yes, I did. In fact, I went for my Medicals before I got ITA. All you need do is create an immiaccount, start a new application, choose health declaration and follow through with the form filling till you are able to generate a HAP ID. This ID must be generated uniquely for the Principal applicant and also for other dependents. Book an appointment with an authorized clinic, depending on your location and present your ID(s) for medical exam. Feel free to seek further clarifications

@Cecegal: You can even do it at a lesser amount depending on who you meet plus your bargaining skills. Though I did mine for 4,500N but I hear of people who did it for 3,000/500 last year

Congrats on the positive assessment! I assume you have submitted EOI by now. If not, please join the queue sharply. Don't joke with ur 20 pointer PTE if it is needed. Medicals can be done ahead if you are sure ITA will arrive within a year of health clearance. As for PCC, just go Alagbon, na from the gate dem go start to dey drag u for patronage. 5k go do per head. All the best with the rest of the journey.

Hi Jamson, Bnimz and other PTE legends in the house......please how were you guys able to improve your pronunciation?

I have been using some apps to convert my speeches to text since that is what PTE does. I'm afraid they've not been picking more than 40-50% of my speeches correctly, is this not a failure already in PTE speaking?

Please I need your advice and guideline.

Bnimz, where are you ooo? I have little to say to be honest. All I did was to mimic American accent undecided please thrash those speech to text software, because they will only succeed in demoralizing you. Make sure to digest all E2 PTE video lessons on YouTube and abide by their instructions. While it is good to work on your pronounciaton, don't do that at the expense of other important pointers like vocabulary, grammar, content and form as they are very crucial to your 20 points

I am happy to provide further help
