Nzeogwu led the delegation to kill Sardauna

This is a video with Nzeogwu telling how they killed Sardauna

And for the killing of Balewa the Prime minister

“His orderly who was an Igbo officer led soldiers into the house around 2am that night, and they went straight to his room and knocked. They told him that soldiers wanted to stage a coup and that he should follow them to safety. He said he wasn’t going anywhere and that he prefers to remain with his family, but they forced him to go with them. That was the last time they saw him. He said a short prayer and followed them. For six days, no one could tell us where he was.”
“But the morning after the coup, we all heard that the Premier of the Northern region, Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto had been killed.

The person that narrated this tale was he there? Is this not that type of tale that Obasanjo and Co humour us with?
Were all the Ibo officers responsible for murdering Lt.Pam there at the time of his death?

It's called reenactment.

This is really funny even funnier is that the Ibo themselves lost More trying to be on their own country.

Today Igbos are treasurers ,vice presidents of world Bank and other multinational corporations.

Igbos have produced some of the Best brains in the world ,NASA , an Igbo was named as the most power black man in Britain, and it is only in a country that isn't barely being held together by a military rather than national patriotism,a country whose only achievement is remaining united against internal forces since it got almalgamated that Igbos are treacherous.
Their brilliance is not in doubt, neither is their love of treachery, deceit and dubiousness.

Who was counting the shots biko? Liars everywhere. The only truth is that he was shot.
You do know that once the coup fails and the perpetrators are apprehended, there's an interrogation, transcripts and (where possible /neccessary) reenactments to properly ascertain what happened.

Most Nigerians are very good for wrong reasons. Even their narratives are as crooked and ill-motivated as the Nigerians. If Lt Col James Pam stood out as the officer that informed Gen. Ironsi about coup, it is safe to say he had prior knowledge of the military purge. Mere sounds of gun shots in a soldier's compound does warrant the soldier to ring up a GOC of army to inform him/her of a coup in progress. These goofy people find it hard to hide their insincerity.
You're out of your mind. As a top Army officer, when you see people creeping up on your house in the dead of the night common sense tells you (especially during that era) that a coup is ongoing. And the next step is to inform your superiors.

How old are you? 5?

Let's put it this way, maybe you can see the bigger picture better...I'm on my own, you come to my house and attack me relentlessly, I decided to strike back...but seeing that you are stronger than me, I decide to hurt you back where you are most vulnerable, maybe attacking your loved one and taking hostage of what you love most, you now have what is mine and I have what is yours, remember I didn't start the trouble...you did, so how I'm I in the wrong for taking a stand in a dire situation at that, to save my own head? will neutrality mean anything to someone who wants to survive but can't be left alone? you already know the answer to that question
It's funny how you Ibos excuse EVERY SINGLE ACT you committed. Nobody likes a bully that plays victim once he gets his nose bloodied. Nobody feels sympathy for him either.

You call Ademoyega a mastermind of the coup. He was smarter than your Ibo coupists, not single blood is traced to his hand. As a mastermind of a plot that was heck lot of smartness and leadership to command all those Ibos to commit murder while he himself remained stainless!

Yes he was a mastermind of the coup. He was among the nucleus that met with nzeogwu and planned it.

Its not by opening acct on NL to type tribalism chaka chaka! Go read some books

Abeg, cut the old man some slack jo. He was a boy soldier in Ojukwu's Biafran Liberation Front and his reward was a shrapnel

logged in his frontal lobe whilst his mates were all wiped out in their only offensive outing. Ever since, he's been spewing gibberish.

Laudate pray tell, would the outcome had been any different if the Midwest invasion didn't take place, the killing of Biafrans began right from the moment Nigeria fired the first shots, are you overlooking the fact that Nigeria struck first and the response they got was expectedly reactionary as well as desperate...my guy all logic is thrown out the window the moment you invade my territory with guns and armoured tanks, a desperate man will do anything to survive, morality unfortunately has no grandstanding in war, didn't Awolowo teach you that when he starved millions of innocent children to death? figure it out..I'm out of here

Just saw this. If the Midwest invasion had not taken place, then the reprisal enacted by the federal forces which led to the death of thousands of people in the old Midwest, would probably not have occurred. sad More lives would have been spared, on both sides (i.e. the federal side & the Biafran one). Who knows? shocked

If the invasion of the old Midwest had not occurred, local and international sympathy for the Biafran cause would have increased and the outcome would likely have been different.

If the invasion of the old Midwest did not occur, no one would have known of Ojukwu's expansionist tendencies, and his desire to subjugate other regions and add them to his kitty. undecided

You are naive, the most important battles on the Biafran side was led by Victor Banjo, a Yoruba. He led the invasion of the mid west and was only stopped at Ore, does that make it less of an ibo invasion?
Keeping deceiving yourselves on Viktor Banjo...Ojukwu gave him a chance to be a hero and he failed miserably undecided
Re: January 15,1966 Coup: Conversation Between Lt. Col Pam And His Murderers by cheruv: 7:39am On Jan 19, 2017
Qelvin:

The most important battle of Biafra surely wasn't the Midwest invasion sir, that was only a diversionary tactics to draw Nigerian troops away from mounting pressure on Enugu in the Northern sector of Biafra, and there were far more capable Biafran officers like Achuzia who came from the Midwest that would have led that invasion...Ojukwu for rather strange reasons that could have been for political aim settled for a yoruba of all people...he perhaps trusted Banjo too much since they were said to friends. And Banjo wasn't "stopped" at Ore, at the time the Biafrans had the momentum and could have advanced to Lagos as the road to Lagos was not defended...but of course Banjo halted the advance on the pretext of "consulting his sources in Lagos" and thus delayed the advance by some 48 hours which was just enough to buy the federal troops time to counter attack...but then one could hardly blame Banjo for doing what he did, he was Yoruba after all and it was only logical that he won't attack his own region in order not to be deemed a traitor. Had Ojukwu given command of the Midwest to a Biafran, notably of Midwest origin like Colonel Achuzia or Nwawo (two very capable officers who played vital roles in heroically defending Bjafra) the story would have been different...maybe just maybe, Biafra would have toppled the Gowon government in Dodan barracks and forced Nigeria to the negotiation table...if there was any miscalulation on Ojukwus part..it will be this one.
Thanks for this awesome piece cool
This is what I keep telling Yorubas...that the worst decision Ojukwu made was to give a Yoruba command of the Midwest war...if he used Nzeogwu like he planned to before the chap died on July 26 or Nwawo which he replaced Nzeogwu with, the Midwest campaign would've been the turning point of the war smiley

Who sent who??
Nzeogwu was cautioned severally on the dangerous missions he undertook but he seemed to turn a deaf ear to the Biafran army HQ recommendations...that day he died, he was together with Tom biggar who was Ojukwus brother.
The two men, nzeogwu and biggar died in the Wushishi led Federal ambush that day July 26,1967
