Happy New Month Everyone.... May this month bring us and ours all our heart desires. God will cause us to win and laugh all through the month.

@chidike...congrats bro..welcome to the visa gang 2017

@vinsmuft...really sorry about your result. IMO and from research i did then when I was seriously considering a remark, I'll say you should just let it be. I was able to find only one person from a forum (I don't remember now) who actually had a rescore for just one point too. He said in a few hours, he got the exact same results. I'll advise you do more research into the speaking section and retake the test instead. A few tips I used to improve my score was that I didn't correct myself even when I said something wrong, ensure you give a conclusion at the end of every diagram. Those were the few things I did differently the second time..I wish you the best

@bnimz....am soooooo happy. Am dancing for joy. Congratulations in advance ooo.

@mamajaz....it's good to have you back. It is well ma'am..

We thank God ooo. Visa Lodged.... All documents frontloaded except pcc uk. Still expecting it. I want to ask ooo. Do we need to attach expired passport also or just the current passport. Cos the current passport is fresh, it's the expired passport that have visas, etc. Secondly, are we to scan and attach pages with visas, stamps, etc. Thanx. Anyone in the house can also help with this. Thanx all.

There's is a section on form 80 for travel history. So you might need to upload expired passport to back that up if you included countries whose visas are on the old passport..
If you have to, make sure you account for every stamp, even stopovers. Reason why I got CO contact cry cry

That's why I said "if you have to".

I don't think it's necessary if you won't list the country under travel history. But if you for example list UK as a country visited, it won't be a bad idea to scan the UK visa page. There's actually a provision for that while filling application form.

Thanks. Will consider rewriting when the analysis of the last draw comes out. I have 65 points already and my date of effect is very close so writing another PTE may not be necessary.

Good day sir bellong, OmogeNg and other gurus in the house.
Please I am in the process of assessing my skills with Vetassess but I have a little challenge which I am certain that this beautiful family will help provide a solution to.
I have worked with 2 different employers in the last 10 years and I have been able to successfully get a reference letter from the employer whom I worked abt 8 years for. The other employer who also happened to be my most recent employer has refused to give me a reference letter. Please I will like to know if this will jeopardize my chances of getting a positive assessment. If yes, are there other documents I can submit as a substitute to reference letter? Your candid advice/suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

Some people do upload all the pgs of their passport. I did not and CO did'nt ask for it. Try and keep it simple to avoid complications.

Dear friends,

I have finally made payment for my flight to Adel aide but I have question, IOM mentioned in their mail that what they gave me is an "estimated quite", so does it mean they would refund me if final amount is less than what I paid?

It most likely means you might need to be pay higher if the booking they made for you expires before they receive your payment.
It could also be lower but that rarely happens.
I speak from the angle of a travel agent.

Date of effect means the date the EOI was originally submitted. it changes when there is a change in EOI points. ITA is based on date of effect for applicants with the same points.

Engineers Australia
Engineering House
11, National Circuit
Barton ACT 2600
Australia.

2)The EA email address to send my document to
It is done online, download the MSA online application user guide from EA's website, it also gives details on how you'll register online

3)The fees to be payed and the payment method.
I think it is about AUD700 for MSA CDR and about AUD1020 with relevant skill assessment, it can done through your card or wired transfer. Details also available on EA's website and the MSA online application user guide.
Thanks.

Congrats again bro. I am just getting to know now that IOM offers discounted travel services for new immigrants to Australia. Please how does one go about it?
Even though we are still waiting for ITA, its not a bad idea to have some upfront knowledge. wink

Google IOM, send them email when you are ready. They will ask for your passport details and visa reference number I believe.

@Nanlop55,

I have no idea of requirements for architects. However, I believe instructions on their website will explain everything.

What part do you need help with?
@ Bellong thanks so much for taking note of my need.
The self assessment matrix and if there is any particular order to which the cover letter is to be written.
most of those at expatforum forum suggested that talking to a person that finished from Nigeria or Ujay will help. As no one understands their criteria.
thanks

Your payment for CDR only is AUD 750 + AUD 270 (if you want to fast track, I strongly recommend you do)

BTW, do you have the MSA document? It will answer all your questions

I wish myself better luck next time
