In all my years of following politics in US, I have never seen any administration in such a disarray . One thing I am sure of is that the mini dictator will find out how determined Americans are to fight him all the way. The fight will start from his SCOTUS nominee.

The DNC are gonna lose this battle with sold out like Feinstein and Joe machin in there ranks. The midterms seems to be the only time the DNC can fight back with the ever growing resentment of the man child.

And to make matters even bleaker for Senate Dems, some of the seats they do hold belong to states that voted for Trump over Hillary Clinton. Of the 25 Democratic senators up for re-election in 2018, 10 come from states where Trump won: solid red states Indiana, West Virginia, Missouri, Montana, and North Dakota, along with traditional swing states Michigan (still recorded as likely Trump until all votes are counted), Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Wisconsin—which all voted for Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012. Tim Kaine also faces re-election in Virginia, a battleground state Clinton won only narrowly on Tuesday.

The math is simple: If the electoral map stays the same colors between now and 2018, the Democrats could stand to gain just one Republican seat while losing 10 of their own, leaving them with an even smaller minority than they held when they lost their majority in the 2014 midterms.

And then there’s the House. Currently, Republicans hold a wide majority, with 239 Republican congressmen to just 192 Democrats. And with Republican gerrymandering, the Democrats could face an uphill battle trying to flip that many seats in 2018.

As tempting as it is to look to the 2018 midterm elections as a shining second chance, liberals need to face the facts: The numbers just don’t add up.

There is pressure on Feinstein and Machin. Feinstein is from a very blue State and I don't think she will run again. Machin is from a Purple State and I think both of them will have opposition in the primary if they ever run again. It baffles me why any Democratic Senators will support all the nominees of trump like republicans are wont to do.

I called it trump revolution.

Hope its not just noise making thing and propaganda for four years.

Thursday’s move is really just meant to cure an unintended consequence of an order signed late in December that was preventing U.S. companies from exporting computer software that contains encryption capabilities to Russia.

In December, after intelligence agencies in the U.S. determined that not only had Russia attempted to interfere with the November presidential election but that the order had been given from the very top of the Kremlin, Obama took steps to further strengthen existing sanctions. One of those moves was the addition of the FSB to the list of entities that U.S. persons, businesses and particularly financial institutions are barred from doing business with.

The problem for U.S. software and technology firms is that in order to sell products containing encryption software in Russia, it is necessary to buy a license. And the licenses are sold by the FSB. That meant that U.S. computer firms and others were unable to buy the required licenses and, therefore, were being shut out of the Russian market.



“This simply addresses this unintended consequence that actually harms U.S. businesses,” said Douglas N. Jacobson, an international trade attorney with the law firm Jacobson Burton Kelley in Washington. “That was not what this was intended to do. OFAC didn’t even realize that U.S. companies had to obtain this authorization from Russia to import their products.”

This was carried out with good intentions with lasting benefits for America. I agree with the facts.

I am not surprised as trump is foaming in the mouth about getting rid of Dodd/Frank. He was a big debtor to the banks who ended up paying for his business losses while he made out right. Wasn't that the reasons American banks blacklisted him and stop funding his projects and he turned to the Russian Oligarchs, Chinese banks and his rich Arab friends in the Middle East for funding. The Democrats especially Senator Warren and her friends are going to do everything to stop him on that. We knew what we went through in 08 and thank God Obama stemmed the bankruptcy tides enveloping America . We sure don't want to go back to 08.

I'm still stunned. I looked up the predictions for this year. It's quite revealing.

1. Alt right guy will invent the make up gun.

2. There'll be a referendum whether or not to deport illegal immigrants.

3. Greedy, corrupt energy firms will cause an environmental catastrophe, and a dome will be built over the contaminated site.

4. The chandelier in Elton John’s private jet will malfunction.

5. It will be made illegal to teach evolution in schools ( I see Betsy Devos and Mike Pence written all over this).

6. Facebook’s algorithm will flag fake news but also sarcasm to make sure no one is confused by what they read online.

7. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will get fat after comfort eating their way through a messy divorce ( funny one ).

8. Empowered by seeing so many metaphorical clowns elected to positions of power in 2016, several actual clowns will stand in elections around the world. And win ( the Donald inspires real clowns ).

9. Benedict Cumberbatch will be cast as David Cameron in the dramatisation of Brexit.

10. Prohibition will return to several states in the US ( it will fail the episode shows).

11. Stephen Hawking will learn to fly.

12. To cut costs, industry workers will be replaced by robots ( This is already happening. The Mexicans ain't stealing no jobs, automation is ).

13. It will be revealed that an election was won because of voter fraud, with dead people and pets mysteriously casting votes ( watch out for this, the episode shows a male character become Mayor after rigging the election ).

14. White men will gloat ( this looks like Trump regrets to me ).
